"Can you check that for me" asked Lacey.

Kacy picked up the phone and held it to Lacey's finger for her to unlock it.

"It is from a contact named HER. She said that she will be at your place by 6 tonight" said Kacy.

"I will text back later, just leave it" said Lacey.

"You didn't tell me you were seeing someone. Who is this HER?" asked Kacy.

"It's nothing, it just someone I met out one night and we have been talking or whatever" lied Lacey.

She couldn't tell anyone that she was in a relationship with her boss not even one of her closest friends.

She continued driving to Kacy's apartment.

After the room had emptied out Stephanie followed Hunter to his office. He sat behind his desk text away on his phone.

"So I'm going to stay down here this weekend and coming week to get situated with everything" said Stephanie.

Hunter paid no attention to her, she knew he was probably texting one of his conquests. She wasn't oblivious to his infidelity, she chose to ignore it. As he had his dirt and she had hers.

At this point they were only married for the public image and the sake of their daughters. They had been married for over 15 years and the only good thing that Stephanie got out of their marriage was her girls. To be honest, that's the only reason, she stayed with Hunter. They didn't share a bedroom, they haven't had sex in almost 4 years with each other that is. Stephanie could leave him but she didn't want to deal with the attention it would get.

"Hunter are you even listening to me or are you texting one of your many conquests" said Stephanie.

"I heard you the first time, and you and I both know that we have been separated for 5 years now. What I choose to do is none of your business" said Hunter.

"It concerns me we are still legally married, separated but still married" said Stephanie.

Hunter shook his head and went back to his phone.

"You know what we are done here. I have shit to do, go fuck whatever female talent is trying to get a push this week. I will see you next week. When I visit the girls" said Stephanie.

"Off to go get your fix, of the male talent" said Hunter.

Stephanie slapped him, "don't you ever accused me of have sex with the talent I would never stoop to your level. And if I were going to do anyone you would know about it. Literally anyone would be better in bed than you were" said Stephanie.

"You weren't saying that when we made our daughter. If I remember correctly I was the best you ever had" said Hunter.

"Now you've been demoted to one of the worst" said Stephanie.

"You're going straight to hell Steph" said Hunter.

"Not before you do" said Stephanie, as she walked out of the office.

Stephanie gave her driver Lacey's address and told him that she'd call when it was time to pick her up.

He arrived to the apartment only 20 minutes later. He helped Stephanie grabbed the bags she had in the trunk before making sure she made it upstairs safely.
