Chapter 33: Confession

I place my hands behind my back and smile at him kindly, "Goodnight Midoriya."

He blushes even harder, making a small sound and runs to his own room and slams the door behind him.

Walking back into the room...

My smile drops as I walk back into the room, knowing that he probably deserved a reply rather than an uncertain answer. I close the door behind me and lean back into the wall, slowly sitting down onto the floor and holding my knees close to my body. Tears well up in my eyes as I think about Midoriya's feelings once more, snuggling myself into my arms and trying to feel the warmth around me.

I'll have to hurt everyone's feelings eventually, either ending up with someone or alone. We are all so young; why do we have love problems like this? We should be enjoying friendship and going out as friends together to the beach. Instead, friendship became complicated and people started falling for one another.

I'm so sorry everyone...

I'm sorry you all think I'm interesting...

As I continue to sob slowly into my arms, I feel warm arms wrap around my frame hugging my body close to their own. I look up and see Uraraka with her eyes closed and a soft smile on her face as she continues to hug me.

"Uraraka..." I whisper her name and lean into her embrace and turn to hug her properly, "I don't understand what to do."

Uraraka takes my hand gently and guides me to my own bed. She gives me some water as the tears continue to fall from eyes without control. She then wipes my tears away with a tissue and continues to smile kindly at me.

"If it makes you hurt this much, then maybe you don't need to do anything for now. I'm not sure what happened but I know you'll figure it out," Uraraka says with a bubbly tone in her voice as she continues to comfort me.

I smile happily in response with tears still in my eyes. Uraraka never asks me what happened. Instead, she comforts me and stays by my side the whole night until I fell asleep right next to her while holding her warm hand.

Next Day...

Waking up, I snuggle towards the source of warmth I feel on my right side. I smile happily and hug the source closer to my body and embrace it even more. A few minutes later, that source starts moving and I decide to open my eyes.

"(Y/n)," Uraraka says with an embarrassed appearance on her face, "I didn't want to wake you up... But we have breakfast soon. Do you want to go or would you like to stay behind?"

Uraraka asks politely and I smile in response. I hug her tightly and roll her over so that I'm lying on top of her. She squeals just slightly, flustered from my actions.

I raise myself up with my hands placed on the side of her head as I grin, "You're so nice Uraraka! Don't worry I'm feeling better already. Let's go-to breakfast now?"

She nods and we head towards the dining hall to eat breakfast altogether.

Later that day...

As I didn't make any plans in particular, I decide to hang with all the girls and we head to the beach once more to enjoy the sea and sand. As I apply sunscreen, I decide that I would like to make a large sandcastle first as it would be interesting to see.

I taste the sand disgustingly and spit it out immediately. I then raise my hands and try to intricately make the castle as pretty as possible, while also trying to maintain its shape. I make the castle twice my height and smile. I then grab some leaves that have fallen from the palm trees and place it around the sand as decoration. The other girls seem to notice my sandcastle and run over to it.

"This is so cool!" Mina screams and tries to climb on top of it, successfully doing it after a few tries, "I'm the princess of this castle! I am the ruler and (Y/n) is my queen!"

We all laugh and I continue to finish off certain parts. After I finish making the castle with the girls in our class fawning over how big it is, Yaoyorozu asks me politely to bury her in the sand and I laugh, comply with it anyways. She says that she's never had anyone do it to her so she would like to experience it at least once.

While I form a shape, I ask Yaoyorozu, "Do you want me to make you into a certain character or shape?"

"Yes! A mermaid please!" Her eyes sparkle in determination cutely as she excitedly requests, "When you are done, could you take a picture with me?"

As I form it with my hands, I make a perfect mermaid tail and place some seashells onto it. I take my phone from my bag and take a picture with Yaoyorozu. We both laugh and she shakes the sand off so that she can play in the water with the rest of us.

The afternoon ends with all of us happily playing the water and having to head back for dinner.

Nighttime...

As the rest of the class decide to do activities together. It becomes night time and dinner passes. Aizawa informs us there are Fireworks going to happen after dinner so we can decide whether or not we want to watch it or sleep.

The whole class decides to go watch together and we all walk out onto the beach.

As the fireworks start, people watch in awe while some continue to eat their snacks. I smile with pure joy and look around me, seeing all my classmates enjoying themselves. Bakugou sits next to me on the sand and passes me some takoyaki that he bought from the convenience store. I thank him and eat it happily, savouring the taste, which I can tell was made well and hygienically.

The soft sizzle followed by a loud bang of the fireworks fills my ears. The bright illuminating colours fill the sky and my mouth fills with a colourful taste. The peaceful moment shared between our entire class makes my heart warm.

As the day ends, I whisper to no one in particular, "I wish we could live like this forever..."

(Y/n) arrives home...

The next day continues without anything too dramatic or interesting happen and we all head back as our resort trip ends with our training camp coming up soon. We all go home happy and mentally ready for the upcoming training camp, looking forward to it as well as fearing what is to come.

As I unpack my clothes and take a shower, I feel a sense of relief being at home without others around me as the trip was just too mentally exhausting for me. There were too many things that happened which did not let me truly relax on this trip. There was the date with Bakugou that ended with a romantic kiss, and Midoriya's heartfelt confession to me.

I scratch my head a sigh deeply as I brush my hair with a comb and plop myself onto my soft bed. As the training camp is coming up, I still haven't seen my parents properly as they've been super busy. Not that I am complaining, but I would like to have a proper dinner once more before I leave for the training camp.

Before I can head to bed, a notification pings on my phone, making me raise my head and check what it is. I swipe my phone open and look at the message.

Hello. It is me Todoroki

I was hoping we could go shopping before the training camp. 

I would like to spend time with you before camp.

My face goes red at his straightforwardness but decide to reply yes anyways as I do not have any excuse not to go anyways.

I let out a warm sigh from my mouth as I place my hand onto my head, "What do I do with all of these people Harlon?"
