Colt paved his way slowly towards me. Napaiwas ako ng tingin kaya naman nagtataka ang kanyang mga mata.

"Are you done? Anong problema?" tanong niya habang hinuhuli ang aking tingin.

I swallowed the lump on my throat and shook my head. Pinilit kong ngumiti para ipakitang walang problema.

"N-Nothing. I think... we should go now," nahihirapan kong sambit.

Colt remained silent and his eyes were glued at me. "Why? Do you want to go home now?"

Gusto ko sanang sabihin na kailangan na namin umuwi dahil tutal naman, mukhang pinapauwi na siya ng kausap niya kani-kanina lang. But I shook that idea off my head. What the heck am I thinking.

I took my phone out when I felt it vibrated. Just like my prayer has been heard, it's Romeo asking me what's taking me so long to go home. Bahagya akong napangiti roon. He still hasn't changed a bit.

Umangat ang tingin ko kay Colt, nakatunghay pa rin sa akin gamit ang seryosong mga mata.

I smiled at him apologetically. "I need to go home. Hinahanap na ako sa bahay."

"It's Romeo, I see," he stated coldly.

My lips parted with his firm statement and my face contorted.

I sneered. "It's not about him."

I don't know why but my disdain a while ago suddenly aggravated. Sa pagkakaalam ko, ako dapat ang mas galit ngayon dahil siya nga, may patawag-tawag pa samantalang text lang ang sa akin!

He shook his head and snorted. Nakita ko pa ang paggalaw ng kanyang adam's apple bago tuluyang pumikit nang mariin. Nang bumukas iyon, his brooding eyes a while ago pacified.

"Alright then. I'll take you home now," he said calmly.

He doesn't seem to mind what others might feel as long as he is able to speak his mind.

Seeing him developed his grip and control is something. Kaya naman sa kabila ng sama ng loob na nararamdaman, nagawa ko pa ring sumaya para sa kanya. Surely, he's been through a lot, that it made him learned to be more responsible and careful with his actions.

Dumapo ang tingin ko sa kamay naming magkasalikop. He insisted to hold hands even though he's busy driving. Hinayaan ko na lang iyon.

"Galingan mo bukas. Manunuod ako," aniya.

He glanced at my direction with his enticing eyes. My lips protruded and smiled.

"Then I'll expect to see you tomorrow. It's nice to see you for three consecutive days if ever," I replied.

Marahan niyang tinango ang kanyang ulo. "Yeah. Kung maaari lang na ganito lagi, sasadyain kita araw-araw. I'm sorry if we have to go through this, Coleen. Once I'm done with all my ongoing projects, we can finally do this often."
