Chapter 3 - Hold it Against Me

Would you hold it against me

            I knew I was skipping around in the song but I didn’t care. I sang the same verse three times in a row and lost myself dancing around. I was lathering up my hair during the fifth chorus when I heard someone chuckle then the bathroom door close. I stopped singing immediately and looked through Liam’s opaque glass shower door but nobody was out there. I finished up my shower wondering who it was and stepped out onto the heated tile. Ah the perks of being a pop stars girlfriend. I got dressed into clothes I kept at Liam’s and blew out my hair. I smelled bacon, my second favorite food to blueberries, and followed my nose to the kitchen.

            “Smells amazing,” I walked over to Liam who was leaned up against the island and gave him a kiss. He sniffed quickly probably picking up on the shampoo and smiled contently.

            “Hey doesn’t the cook get a kiss?” Harry whined. He looked so cute in his little apron holding a spatula.

            “Maybe,” I kissed his cheek lightly which made him smile. “Keep the bacon coming and there more where that came from." I grabbed a piece of bacon and took a bite while winking at him. Zayn reached over my shoulder and stole the bacon from my hand. I began to protest but before I could get a word out it was gone.

            “Good job Styles.” Zayn smiled at me as I crossed my arms.

            “That was my bacon.” I said simply and sternly.

            “You know better than to mess with her and her bacon,” Liam advised and I nodded in agreement.

            “What are you going to do?” he smiled cheekily and held his hands up to his hair. “Hold it against me?” he asked and began dancing like I was in the shower while pretending to wash his hair.

            “Zayn!” I yelled and pounced on him trying to ruffle his hair. He squealed the only way a man can squeal and ran from me but I had already messed up his hair. “Don’t listen to me in the shower!” I yelled as Maggie and Louis came in holding hands.

            “Whoa mate, you two were in the shower together?” Louis asked with a wink. “Get some!” he high-fived Zayn and smiled.

            “Pigs,” Maggie said as I rolled my eyes.

            “Couldn’t have said it better.” I agreed.

            “Hey, you do have a good voice though.” Zayn complimented as I blushed a deep scarlet right down to my ears. Or was it right up to my ears? Who knows?

            “Thanks, I think it’s better than yours.” I bantered back and he came charging at me. He tossed me over his shoulder and brought me back to the kitchen.

            “Liam, your little bird here just insulted me!” he complained as I kicked his chest and attempted to whack his ass. I bit into his shoulder but he didn’t even waver. He finally put me down and I went into Liam’s arms.

            “He man handled me,” I whined like a little kid and Liam smiled.

            “I bet you could’ve taken him.” He whispered in my ear and I smiled triumphantly.

            “Thanks Daddy Direction,” I teased. He dabbed a bit of cake batter on my nose and I attempted to lick it off but my tongue wasn’t on speaking terms with my brain. Liam kissed it off leaving the batter on his lips. I kissed him deeply and tasted the pancake mix along with cherry lollipops. He always tasted like cherry lollipops.

            “So what are we doing today?” Niall asked coming into the room and stuffing half of the pancakes into his mouth.

            “Well I was planning on spending time with Pen.” Harry said bashfully.

            “Aww, how’s it going with you two? I didn’t get to see her much when you guys were gone.” Maggie said coming into the room with Louis. I loved Harry's girlfriend Penelope but she was always busy modeling or with school work.

            “Good, things are really good.” He said with a smile that told us things were more than just ‘good’.

            “Maggie and I are going to the movies later if any of you wanna join?” Louis suggested.

            “Sure,” Zayn said. “I’ll bring Faith too,” he looked down smiling. Oh right, Faith, his girlfriend.
