*You know what to do?* Faruk asked, and Alex nodded, reaching for the knife and the potion. They sliced the tip of their thumb, grimacing at the pain, and allowed three drops to fall into the potion before sticking their thumb in their mouth and corking the potion. They sucked on their thumb as they slowly directed their magic to heal it, shaking the potion with their other hand. They placed the potion back on the desk once they had shaken it for the correct amount of time and the potion had turned a pale pink like it had back with Nurrak. Faruk poured the potion over the parchment and the two of them watched as words began to write themselves over the page. The results were exactly the same as the previous time.

Faruk ignored most of the results, instead looking straight down to the Other section of the test at the bottom of the parchment, before scanning the rest of the results, paying extra attention to the Core Classification section.

*Judging by these results it is clear that you are the Guardian of Magic, or at least one of the strongest of Magic's Chosen. I will contact Merlin to come and meet you and we will see what he thinks. He is the one who told us of the Guardian of Magic coming.*

Until then, Occlumency can be used to prevent it harming me in any way, and that it is an abhorrent piece of magic best left unknown to most,* they said, thinking back to what Nurrak had told them when they had asked about it.

*Nurrak is correct about most of it. A block can also be put on it, to restrict it and prevent it from leaching off of your core, which is something that Occlumency won't prevent it from doing. There is a potion that can block it from your magical core which can be brought up for you. Nurrak also failed to mention that this piece of magic is only able to be put in a living being through a murder gone wrong after the ritual is completed.*
