Chapter 15: The Truth Hurts

"Psst. Give me some of your chemical balls. I've got an idea."

Honey Lemon nods hastily and puts in the chemical compound for an ice and acid ball, handing it over to [F/N].

Meanwhile, Wasabi is shouting and taunting the Kabuki Man. "Hey! Hey! Uh, Y-You want to dance, masked man? Huh? 'Cause you'll be dancing with these!" He shows off his laser hands and glares. "Hand over the mask, or you'll get a taste of this! And a little bit of that!"

He swings his arms around confidently, making sure not to laser his face. The Kabuki Man forms many arms of microbots before firing them off in Wasabi's direction.

"Uh oh ..."

Wasabi quickly remembers his training and hits all of the microbots away. The villain suddenly stops and Wasabi opens his eyes again, shrugging confidently. "Hey. I did all right. Is that all ya got?!" He looks down at his legs, realizing the microbots had taken ahold of them and his knees buckle together in fear.

"Oh. Y-You got that, too?" He squeaks out.

The Kabuki Man throws him into Fred—who had just recovered—only to then slide into Go Go and Honey Lemon, knocking them all over into a doggy pile. The Kabuki Man almost laughs at their failed attempt at a capturing. He makes his microbots form into a large fist, ready to officially end the team of supers until [F/N] interfered.

"Hey! You leave my friends alone, Krei!" [F/N] shouts from behind him, aiming her gun at him.

The Kabuki man slowly turns around to her and sighs in annoyance. These kids were starting to get on his nerves. He shoots off his microbot fist at the girl, who then fires her gun and makes the whole fist freeze. The Kabuki Man lifts his other hand up and starts to launch attack after attack towards the girl, who luckily knew a thing or two about roller blading. She avoided every attack—almost getting jabbed in the side by the last one—before pulling out the gun when she was a couple feet away from him.

"Dude, I'm warning you, this is acid! Just give us the mask and we can end this peacefully—"

But of course he doesn't stop. She finally shoots the acid ball at one of his microbot legs before getting slammed into the wall—hard. The Kabuki Man is about to take a tumble—and to make things worse for him—Hiro comes flying in on Baymax—grabbing him by the scruff of his trench coat. But the Kabuki Man wasn't going to go down so easily. He lifted his hand up and the microbots shoved Baymax back, making the robot let go of the felon and throw Hiro off his back. Hiro and the Kabuki Man both land on the floor roughly, the mask finally coming off. The microbots disperse, leaving the rest of the team safe from being squished by the microbot fist.

Hiro lets out a groan, noticing the mask right next to him and the villain struggling to get up. He quickly takes the mask in his grasp and slowly stands back up, pressing a button on the side of his helmet that lifted up his visor.

Hiro's glare was sharp and unwavering as he spoke, "It's over, Krei."

The team walks over to where Hiro and the villain are, having [F/N] being carried by her arms with the help of Go Go and Honey Lemon. The man gradually stood to his feet, groaning a little in pain before finally facing Hiro and his team. Hiro's heart stopped beating for a moment, the butterflies erupting in his stomach and making him feel nauseous.

The culprit isn't Krei.

"Professor Callaghan?"

The team gasped and stood in complete shock and fear. Hiro shook his head in denial, not wanting to believe one of his idols was the cause of his older brother's death. "The explosion ... you died."
