Kakashi x Reader [English]

Chapter 4

I waited until I had their exact position and  then dived underwater, creating a kagebunshin that would stay there while I tracked the onlooker. 

I clenched my towel (the only thing covering my body) closer to me with slight annoyance as I saw a white haired man giggling like a dumb kid while his cheeks were bright red. I grabbed tighter the kunai that I was holding and put it against his neck. 

"You have 10 seconds to give me a good reason as to why are you spying on me" I said in a threatening tone, causing him to stiff rapidly. 

He chuckled sheepishly and held his hands up.  

"C'mon c'mon, don't be so mad I-" he tried to make his way out of the trouble.

I pushed the kunai tighter to his skin.

"8, 7..." I started counting down.

"You wouldn't hurt an old man like me" he said with a smile, not quite sure himself.

"If you've been watching me for a while you know I'm a member of the ANBU from Konoha. 4, 3 ..."

"Okay okay" he gave up, still having a small smile "I'm a novelist and I was just looking for inspiration. 

"That's not an excuse?" 

"Yeah, it isn't" he smiled yet again.

"Who are you?" I asked, pulling the kunai to his chin and lifting it up so he'd look at my eyes and not my body like he was doing.

"After that we kept on bumping into each other by chance, no matter which villages we moved to he was there. In the end we ended up developing a weird friendship" I kept on explaining to Kakashi while we neared the bookstore "Little did I know he was actually the writer of the Icha Icha series" I finally announced, getting Kakashi's attention, although it had already been on the story "One day I went to see him and saw a book in his bin. I picked it up and he told me he didn't like it and that I could keep it" 

Just as I finished my explanation we entered the bookstore.

"Here" I said stopping, handing him my precious book. He looked at me unbelieving and then back to the book, and back at me, making me chuckle a little "C'mon, I've read it a million times. Just treat it well okay, it's my most precious possession" 

He carefully grabbed it, really fearing to damage it as it was after all the only copy in the world.

His eye looked as bright as the eyes of a kid that was just given his birthday presents. 

"Thank you" he said with an amazed tone, making me giggle a little more.

"It's no problem at all" I said as I started walking through some aisles, him following me while still looking at the book, surprised that I had lent it to him "Do you read any other genre?" I asked him, running my hand through the book spines from the shelves.

He finally kept the book away safely and looked through the books as well. 

"Well, mainly romance" he answered.

'So, he's a pervert'  I thought smiling a little because I again found it funny how unexpected it was that Kakashi Hatake was a pervert. 

"But I've read other stuff too" he quickly added, almost as if he didn't want me to think what I had just done "And you?" he changed the topic almost too fast, adding to my smile. 

"I like sci-fi and mystery, although I read anything really" I answered him while taking a book out from the shelf and taking a look at the summary "Although my top one is romance as well" I added nonchalantly as I put the book back to its place "Best romance book?" I asked him, drifting to another aisle.
