'Hm... I wonder if that thing will take these fish, rather than me.' I thought to myself. It was a risky idea, but I need to get in that pod, for a long enough time to find a PDA, or something useful, and get out. If I can even find where the creature threw it.
Cautiously, and slowly swimming back to where I last saw the pod, with the big eyed fish in hand.
I saw no sign of the creature yet, but I knew it was bound to show up, somewhere. I soon enough found the pod again, a little tipped but, good enough to quickly get in, and grab what I need.
I got in, rummage threw the storage container, and luckily for me, there was a PDA left in it. I quickly turned it on, the Altera logo loading up.
If I were to be honest about Altera, it sucks, but yet. Its who I work for, to only pay and live, nothing of the sort really. I pay my credits, and they let me live, simple as that really.
Finally, the PDA loaded up into it emergency mode, and went ahead giving me multiple blue prints for, a oxygen tank, fins, a rebreather, a radiation suit, scanner, habitat builder, a flashlight, rebuilder tool, and a seaglide.
I felt relieved, but the moment was cut short when the pod was suddenly being thrashed around again, by whatevers outside.
I quickly opened the top hatch, and escaped without harm, as the same creature earlier was at it again.
What ever this creature was, it really didn't like things in its territory. Soon enough, in a madder of seconds I heard a far distance underwater explosion go off. The creature destroyed the life pod.
I turned around, slowly and I saw the creature a few meters under me, this is why I was never too fond of the ocean. It came up a few more meters, I kept trying to swim away, but even below me it seemed to follow.
As if it knew my ever move. Worse part is, its just about sun down, and this creature didn't seem like I had any parts that had any bioluminescent parts on it.
When I wasn't looking at one point, swimming around like a headless chicken in different directions, I felt something, big and sturdy against my back.
I felt around behind me, I felt a mouth some what, a pointed forward horn chin, a long smooth object, and just barely out of view, I saw four sharp looking objects in the corners of my view.
The creature was right behind me, I swam back away from it fully facing me. The fish I forgot in had, soon became the creatures main focus.
Its head followed where I left my hand with the fish, I assumed if I gave it one, it would leave me alone. I held out me hand with the fish, the larger creature, swimming up closer.
Its head just towering me, as it gently took the fish from my hand, and swam off deeper below.
But then I realized, before it just swam off, their was a piece of scrap metal sticking in right above its jaws, and under its two sides eyes. When the Aurora exploded, a piece of metal must have somehow, got stuck in its mouth, mistaking it for some kind of fish maybe.
But, it seemed to not hurt me once I fed it. Maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Maybe, if I keep feeding it. It would just leave me alone, but it seemed to have trouble eating the eyeball fish.
But thats for another, day.
Right now I need to one, get as far away from here as possible. And two, make sure to never, ever see these grim, snake... Creatures ever again.
In the distance, I saw it long snake like body moving about, and making loads of noise too. It didn't take too long for it to notice my presence, and it came at me again. I sorta knew what to do at this point. Still in fear, due to its massive size. I held out the fish, while the creature swam close up, and took two of the eye fish. While it was eating the tiny fish, I noticed it looked like it was in pain.
It must be from that long spear like scrap metal sticking in its face. Then its when I got kinda stupid, I slowly as I could, swim close to the spear like scrap, dangerously close to it jaws, and pincers.
Grabbing ahold of the metal, the creatures two eyes on the side glanced down on me. I just do happen to made eye contact with the creatures double eyes.
I held the gaze for a second, and looked down at the metal scrap, and back at the temporarily calm creatures eyes.
It nodded its head a little, knowing what I wanted to do. Looking back down at the scrap metal, with all my night as I could, I tried pulling the spear from the creatures face.
It didn't work as well as I planned, it only lead to having the creature endure more pain in its face. It made that clear by roaring again, and if it isn't loud up close.
"I'm sorry to say this, but I can get it out at the moment." I told the creature. It apparently was determined to get it out, or it wouldn't of trapped me in its side pincers locking me in place of the pincers, and its face.
It made eye contact with me, and looked that the metal logged in its face, telling me to pull it out still.
I did probably give up a little too soon. Why not I'll try it again. I grabbed ahold of it again, as its pincers opened up, giving me room to pull. And I tried my hardest pulling at that metal. It worked a little bit, but not too much. Even though, this creature did try to kill me earlier, its kinda sad to see it in more pain than I am.
I don't have no metal logged in me. I only, well just lost my way of getting home, and most of my friends. I, I want to help this creature, but I cant do it on my own. I need to get myself a laser cutter to cut the metal, but I'm going to need a fabricator to do that.
And the pod was the only thing that did, so I'm in need of a base then. And I need to hurry and build one, near this guy. Who knows what other creatures could be swimming about.
I started to swim out, due to the blue prints of the base I need materials from somewhere else, since nothing on the list seem to be here. But I what I didn't expect was that I was being followed by something. Something that needed my help more than I thought.
The creature was following me.
"Oxygen." I forgot, I have to have oxygen... This is going to be a long stay here...
