(Y/n) smiled again at his words, relieved that he didn't think anything bad about her sleeping so much. And then, before yawning again, she let her body plop slightly to her side, resting her head on Kakashi's arm.
"I am" she said, finally opening her eyes and losing herself in the new more green garden.
Yes, the rain was beautiful. The sound of the raindrops against the wooden floor from the porch. The sound of the rain against the same water of the pond... Or the striking sound of far thunder of an also mesmerizing and powerful coming storm. Even the smell of wet grass was pretty. Yes, the rain was beautiful, but the rain with Kakashi by her side was something else, something beyond any of that.
"You can sleep (Y/n)" he said, finally reacting to her action "We've got plenty of time until night, and I'm not going anywhere" he added, snaking his arm around her as she started to drift to sleep comfortably happy.
With his free arm, Kakashi took his book and kept reading. Or well, at least tried because he realized he wasn't able to focus on it. He, for once, had found something he'd rather do than reading his books: looking at her placidly sleeping. He decided that he preferred doing gentle caresses on her back while she started to slide down his arm in her sleep, finally leaning her head on his lap.
When her head hit his lap he stopped moving suddenly, noticing how his skin turned warmer as his nervousness grew. But as her hand moved to his, enclosing around it and taking it near her face, as if instead of a hand she was hugging a teddy bear, he finally calmed down a little. Especially after he became fascinated by (Y/n)'s warm grip on his hand.
It wasn't after some hours passed that she began waking up.
"It's around 8 pm" he informed her "It's still raining, so no one will be outside. We can go anytime now"
(Y/n)'s POV:
I nodded while stretching out, still with my head laying on Kakashi's lap. I finally sat up and rubbed my eyes before standing up and walking to the bathroom where I could put on my jonin uniform. After we both were changed and ready we decided to proceed with the first part of the plan.
Sure the village was bound to be empty, not to say about the actual place where we had to go. But still, it wasn't as late as other days which meant someone could actually come in our room just like the owner of the inn had done a while ago. Because of that, we decided that we would make our kagebunshins stay here pretending as if we had gone to sleep early. Having that in mind, we created our copies and explained to them that they only needed to sleep together, or at least pretend to. Both copies seemed a little hesitant and just looked at each other from the corner of their eyes, a slight blush forming in both of their cheeks. However, neither Kakashi nor me had time to see that because we had to proceed with the second part of the plan.
I sat on the floor and slid my shirt down my shoulder, leaving my neck, collarbone and shoulder exposed. Then Kakashi knelt behind me and painted a seal on it. While he was focused on it and inducing his chakra on the seal, I stared at both of our copies who were finally going ahead with the plan. Both of them held hands and slid under the covers of the futon, getting really close and cuddly, making me inevitably blush from how weird it was to see Kakashi and I like that, actually realizing that that was probably how we had been being. My blush only got worse as I felt Kakashi's breath on my nape due to having put my hair up so he could work the seal easier.
Once he was done I stood up and let my hair down, trying to tie my Konoha ninja headband that for some reason wasn't staying in its freaking place. Kakashi stood up too and came in front of me, taking the headband out of my hands so he'd tie it easier as his head was over mine and thus could see better to make the knot. I felt his hands work behind my head while my eyes were only a few inches away from his chest, letting me breathe in his naturally alluring scent.
