"Did you not hear the part about the giant gun?" Dustin added in with a questioning look.
"Yes, Dustin, I did. And that's why I would be sneaking." Steve explained as Tate hummed.
"Right, right, because sneaking up on someone with a gun is a golden idea, Harrington. I mean, lets get him a creativity award." Tate said as he clapped his hands, making Steve gives him a annoyed look. Scout sighed as she grabbed one of Tate's hands to stop his clapping.
"Well, tell me this, and please be honest. Have you ever actually... won a fight?" Dustin asked Steve as Scout shook her head.
"Okay that was one time-"
"Twice."
"Probably more then twice."
"Jonathan, year prier."
"Listen, that doesn't count."
"Definitely counts, and you deserved it."
"Oh, thank you Scout."
"Why wouldn't it count? Because it looked like he beat the shit out of you."
"Yeah it was a bunch of thing that all added up-"
"Excuses, excuses."
Robin suddenly ran out, making the four frowned their eyes and watch as she pulled all the tips from the tip jar.
"Robin! Hey, Robin!" Steve called out to her as she ran off.
"Where are you going?" Scout asked her.
"I need cash." Robin explained as she held the money up.
"Half of that is mine, where are you going?" Steve asked in a pout.
"To find a way to get into that room, a safe way. And in the mean time, sling ice cream, behave, and don't get beat up. I'll be back in a jiff." Robin said as she took off.
"Well, that really went as planned." Tate said as he jumped on the counter, yanking at one of Scouts curls as she slapped him away.
"I'm going with her!" Scout announced as she took off, ignoring the boys who were calling out to her.
"Robin! Wait up!" Scout yelled as she ran into the parking lot.
"Hop on." Robin said as Scout got onto the back of her bike and put the helmet on her head.
"Hey, so what's up with you and Tate?" Robin questioned as they road down the street.
"What do you mean?" Scout asked confused as Robin laughed.
"You know... the massive tension and the subtle glances." Robin explained as Scout gagged.
"As if! I seriously can't even stand him!" Scout explained as she groaned when they hit a rock.
"Yeah okay, say that to your face every time he's around. Why do you hate him so much? Because of a awkward first kiss in seventh grade? You're in like high school now right, things change." Robin explained as Scout huffed.
"It's deeper than that, we didn't even talk after." Scout said as Robin shrugged.
"I'd kill to never have to talk to my first kiss again, why's it bother you so much?" the older teen questioned as Scout sighed.
"I don't know, it just does. It made me feel embarrassed, I guess. Like he didn't like it or something, I don't know... it's stupid." Scout explained as Robin stopped at a stop sign.
"It's not stupid, it's normal. But you know what they say... enemies to lovers do make the best love stories." Robin explained as Scout gagged again.
"They do not!" the girl in yellow argued as Robin laughed and took off down the road again.
