Chapter 6: 0000 (Oust)

Ash appeared standing next to the tree. He waved his hand and Alejandria disappeared from my embrace.

"Where did you took her Ash!?"

I roared.

"Where she belongs."

As my palm started to smoke Hades appeared in between of us.

"Calm down now both of you. Your match will start this afternoon. "

And he disappeared.

" Your neck better be stitched well Ash, or you might lose your head. "

I smirked and left. I went back to my room and polished my crossbow. I pulled out a black case underneath my bed. I opened the case and inside is a silver arrow. This one was given by Selene when I reached maturity. It's a special one.

I placed it inside my quiver along the black arrows I have in stock. The match would probably be fun.
I ate the black apple that Alejandria gave me. Now I have enough energy to play. The ethnic drum echoed across the underworld. The ground vibrated. Hades must be excited.

The match will start soon.

I donned my black leather armor topped with a black robe and paired it with shoes. I look like a grim reaper in it.

Anyways.

I wore my quiver and took my crossbow and left. The drums kept going louder and louder. I reached the battle ground. It looks like a typical labyrinth.

But on fire.

Different weapons are sprawled in each corner. There are a lot of blind spots and traps. Its been a while since I've played in here. One fun fact about Ash. He is a close combat fighter. Basically he likes poking people with his awfully shining golden sword. Hades made sure he is the best at it. While I grew up being strictly trained with ranged weapons. I specifically mastered the crossbow. Even Hades still believe I suck at using a knife. I cleared my mind. I know hades and Ash will try to read my mind.

Its one thing i'm good as well. Every demon can read minds.

But then I'm gifted with something else...The ability to make myself totally invisible and even conceal my brain activity. You could say I'm a sneaky f*cking demon.

The drums came to a halt.

I positioned my self and hid. From a far I watched ash appear on the middle where the labyrinth starts. Hades sat on the high balcony facing the labyrinth. Next to him is his wife and ash's mother Persephone.

"Where the f*ck is your coward son Hades?"

Ash's yell echoed.

"It's your job to find him Ash."

Hades retorted.

"Whatever! He better hide well then!"

He pulled his sword out his scabbard and raised it.  The fire grew bigger. Hades stood up and waved his hand in the air.

"Let the match begin!"

The ground shook and oozing lava went out the cracks. As ash was going to move I shot an arrow towards him. He roared as it was inches close to his chest when he immediately blocked it with his sword.
