"Now go and hang out with your friends. Don't come home late or mom and dad would be mad at you." I reminded him as he ran off to leave the house.

"Take care son." Mom said as we ate our brunch together. This is the last meal I'll have with them before leaving for States.

"Keep in contact." Dad reminded me and I nodded. I don't want them to worry so of course, I'll keep in contact with them.

They drive me to the airport and gave me our last hugs before I leave.

I entered the airport and waited for my flight. I brought some snacks with me in case I'll get hungry while waiting.

Seong Jaehwa's POV

I decided to call Taehyung since I haven't talked to him for days already.

Sadly, his phone was out of reach.

Probably busy at his company.

I looked at the time and it's almost lunch soon. I wanted to get my mind off some things so I decided to eat at a restaurant near the company.

"Minhee, would you mind joining me for lunch?" I asked her.

"Uh sorry, Jae but Jimin oppa already asked me first and I said yes to him. Tomorrow, I promise I'll eat with you tomorrow." She hurriedly said before leaving her table. Jimin oppa must be waiting for her already.

I went out of the company and hailed a taxi and told him to bring me to the restaurant down the road. After a few minutes ride, I paid and entered the restaurant alone.

"I would like to order this and this and I'll have this as my dessert. I'll just have water." I said to the waiter and he bowed then left.

Soon, my food arrived and I guess I am stress-eating today cause I only noticed now that I order a lot of food." I sighed and continue eating alone.

A few minutes later, as I finished eating, a familiar figure stood beside me.

Kim Eunsung's POV

Hyung doesn't want me to see him off that's why he wanted me to hang out with my friends.

We decided to eat at this restaurant that they keep on mentioning.

I looked around and saw Jaehwa noona, alone. Isn't she going to see hyung leave?

I excused myself from my friends and approached her.

"Noona." I said.

"Oh, I remember you. You're Taehyung's young brother right?" She asked and I nodded.

"I'm Kim Eunsung. Mind if I sit here for a while." She nodded.

"Eunsung-ah. Is Taehyung okay?" She suddenly asked me.

Wait? She doesn't know?

"Noona, you didn't know?" I asked her curiously.

"Know what?" She looked at me confusingly.

"Hyung is leaving today." She widened her eyes as if what I said was surprising.

Maybe she doesn't have any idea about it at all.

"What do you mean leaving Eunsung-ah?"

"He's going to have a business trip to States and his flight is in 30 mins. from now," I said.

She immediately stood up.

"Noona where are you going?" I asked her.

"To the airport. I need to see him before he leaves." She said while running off.

"But miss your bill!" The waiter shouted.

"I'll pay it," I said and gave my credit card to him.

Seong Jaehwa's POV

I hailed a taxi again and told him to drive to the airport.

Why didn't you tell me you were leaving Kim Taehyung? You left me and Jungkook when we were in Kindergarten and now you're leaving again.

Good thing there was no traffic so I was able to make it to the airport in no time. I looked at my time and it's almost 1 pm.

I looked around the place.

"Kim Taehyung!" I shouted his name while looking around.

Where the hell are you?

Kim Taehyung's POV

I was walking towards the boarding lane when suddenly...

"Kim Taehyung!"

I heard my name. I looked around finding the owner of the voice.

"Kim Taehyung!"

The person shouted again. I looked around and saw Jaehwa.

"Jaehwa," I mumbled her name.

"Jaehwa!" I shouted back and she looked at me almost crying.

She ran towards me and hugged me.

"How could you not tell me? We didn't have any proper talks after my birthday and now you're leaving." She sobbed on my chest.

"I'm sorry Jae. Please don't cry. It hurts me seeing you cry." I said as I wiped the tears on her face.

"I'll be back soon. I promise. It's just business. I'll be back soon before you know it." I added. I took out the box I was supposed to give her on her birthday.

"What's this?" She opened the box I gave her and she smiled.

I took the necklace and placed it around her neck.

"It's beautiful." She said while admiring it.

"You're more beautiful," I said making her blush.

"I'll wait for your return." She said.

"I love you." She suddenly blurted out making my eyes widen at what she said.

"I love you Kim Taehyung. I was so dumb to realize it until now. That I'm deeply in love with you since we were kids." She confessed making me smile.

"I'll be back soon. I love you too." As I placed a kiss on her forehead and took a last glance at her before leaving.
