Derek's family had taken only an hour to establish and memorize the plan. Then they suited up, and left to wreak havoc.

The time was now upon them. From inside the speakeasy loud swing music blared and business seemed to be booming. For being an establishment that was supposed to be on the down low, there seemed to be a lot of promotion surrounding it. Derek would make sure that came to an abrupt halt, too.

He had already given the signal for the first move to be made, and finally it began. Derek had sent Scott in first, through the main entrance. Three gunshots rang out, and the screaming began. Derek watched as a hoard of people stumbled out of Theo's club.

That had been the first hurdle. There would be innocents in the club tonight, seeing as it was a Saturday and the world was brimming with scandalous energy and deep pockets. As per usual, Derek didn't deal with innocents.

He watched and waited with Erica and Isaac at his side. Allison and Lydia, who had thrown herself into the mix of the chaos even though she had only just been cleared by the doctor, had the hidden side entrance on lockdown to make sure no one snuck out. At last, the final straggler seemed to stumble his drunken self out the door, and there was nothing holding them back.

The Alpha looked at Erica, who was brimming with barely contained rage, and gestured toward the door. Her boot smashed the door clean through with a solid crack. The pack rushed in, guns loaded.

The speakeasy became solely filled with Theo's underlings. Allison, Lydia, and Scott had made sure they were cornered for Derek to pass judgment. His packmates fanned themselves around the group of terrified looking men, the kind that wasn't so rough and tough when threatened with a real bullet.

But Derek knew that at Theo's word, they'd attack regardless. The blood spilled would be a waste as they weren't even a worthy opponent to begin with.

Derek surged forward, knowing they would all get what they had coming, when Theo pushed through the throng of men.

The bastard was finally deciding to make an appearance.

Even knowing that this was the man, no, the boy that had overwhelmed Boyd, he still looked like a child. The only thing Theo had going for him was numbers. Not that he appreciated it. Theo was a cocky son of a bitch, who thought he was the best because no one better had bothered to deal with him. Maybe it was Derek's fault for never teaching him that particular lesson, but he was here to remedy his mistakes.

"Well, well," Theo said, strolling carelessly up to Derek. A puppy threatening a wolf.

"Look who came to fetch his lost dog."

A smug smirk adorned Theo's features, as if he didn't realize it was his men that were surrounded and not the other way around.

"Where is he," Derek said, not playing the boy's games.

Didn't Theo know it was Derek who invented them all?

Theo just looked at him, appalled.

"Oh? You think I'm just going to tell you where he is?" he answered snidely, "Was that an order? You're the king and I'm your loyal subject that tells all? No, I'm afraid it won't be that easy."

A shot reared as Erica hit one man in the knee, it was followed by a curdling screech. It was Derek's turn to smirk.

Try me, he seemed to say.

Theo understood, and the joyous light in the boy's eyes dimmed.

"Fine, don't make it easy. But unlike Derek, I won't be so nice as to ask twice," Erica glared at Theo. The boy sneered at her, like he was offended that a woman would dare to speak to him at all.
