3- I'll Miss You

"What's it to you?" he questioned. Damn his attitude is off the rails.

"Look, man, I'm not down with your 'tude so you're going to want to tell me who you are before I scream and ruin a perfectly sad goodbye that's happening over there."

He sighs, "I'm travelling with you and the others. Most people call me The Stranger."

"Alright, Mr. Mystery," I strolled over to him and patted his shoulder, "Just don't make too much of a scene." I laughed to myself and sat at the front of the boat, sitting on the edge feeling the fresh wind flow through my hair and outfit that Cadenza made me. God was it comfy. (outfit at the top, get rid of the weapon and change it up.)

Garroth approached me, "Hey," he said, how is his voice so soothing and deep?

"Hey," I replied, quite coldly.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'll be alright, just need to process this."

"Fair enough. Do you want to rest? There's a bed just below us if you want. Also you won't have to hold onto your bag."

I looked at the bag, then at him, "Sure."

He showed me down, there was a only one bed but it looks like everyone's stuff was in there and there were 4 sleeping bags on the floor.

"We couldn't get a big enough ship for us all just yet. So we usually improvise and sleep here or outside. Sorry." he informed me, "Aphmau usually sleeps on the bed but I'm sure she wouldn't mind you using it for now."

"Thanks."

"Cadenza said you were very good at relaxing other people, though she said it in a weird tone for some reason. I just thought I should help you relaxe-"

"Oh my irene," I said, extremely offended. The balls of this boy, i grew up in Mateli, I've never left even left, and he thinks that's okay? Does he think of me like that already? Disgusting.

"What?" he asked confused,

"Look, I'm sorry if I don't want to do it you just after I've left my whole childhood - my whole life - behind. Jeez, you have some real guts. The audacity." I quietly snapped, it's been a long day.

"Nononono!" he exclaimed frantically, "Cadenza said you're good at raising spirits-"

"Yeah, and we all know what she meant by that." I scoff angrily.

He sighed, "She said you always know the right things to say in bad situations. She said you would always help people out if they needed it. I just wanted to help you out. I would never-"

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, ohhh Irene I'm so embarrassed!" I cried, I went bright red and shoved my head into a pillow. I'm the disgusting one.

Then I felt a hand light pat my back, "It's fine, get some rest." he walked out. He's such a gentleman, really charming.

I began laughing to myself, confusing Garroth to stop in his tracks and ask what was so funny.

"Au reviour, Prince Charming." I replied jokingly, but I could sense him getting nervous like he was lying, though there was nothing to lie about.

"W-what did you s-say?" he questioned, but I didn't catch it because I was already drifting off into sleep.

I woke up, refreshed from the nap, I really needed it. It worked perfectly. I do feel refreshed and, well, relaxed. I felt the boat moving so we weren't there yet. Wait. Where were we going? I opened my eyes about to go ask someone. I saw Laurance leaning on the door frame watching me.

"Morning, gorgeous." he winked, what the fuck is wrong with him, he's was not like this a few hours ago, does he have bipolar?

"Were you watching me sleep?" I asked, I don't know if I should be freaked out or complimented.

He went red, "What? Of course not! I don't- I wouldn't-"

"Well I mean I woke up at you were looking at me, that usually means you're watching me sleep."

"No! I just came to get something and stopped to take a breather." I swear on my life I could see actual shit spill out of his gob.

"Okay, perv. Where are we going anyway?" I asked as I got up and made the bed.

"There's supposedly something interesting up North for-"

We were consumed by water.

I've written 19 parts so yall will be good for now but I'm losing motivation :////

Also I just binge watched all of My Hero Academia and Fruits Basket 2019 and angel beats! ready for home school tomorrow but I'm not prepared :(
