Missing Memories (Tzuyu X TWICE)

Chapter 31

The older girl switched her pose to a more candid pose. Tzuyu looked at her phone screen just as the water fountain shot water up. Tzuyu's eyes shot wide in surprise as her heart skipped a beat before starting to beat fast. Tzuyu subconsciously took multiple photos before the water fountain took a pause in its pattern.

"Wh-wh-what was that? This feeling... It can't be, right?" Tzuyu questioned herself.

Tzuyu was shaken out of her thoughts when she felt the older girl leaning up behind her, "Can I see the pictures?"

Tzuyu blushed at how close the older girl was to her, "Yeah, sure."

Tzuyu ended up walking back to the JYP building. She walked by everyone without greeting anyone due to being lost in her thoughts. She ended up sitting on the couch inside of an empty practice room.

"I can't be developing feelings for her, can I?" Tzuyu asked herself while she danced alone in the practice room.

"It doesn't make sense! I just rejected her not long ago! Why would I be developing feelings now?!" Tzuyu yelled out in frustration as she stopped dancing.

Tzuyu lied down on the floor as she looked up at the ceiling, "But every time she is around me, my heart beats rapidly. Every time she is not around me, I want to know where she is."

Tzuyu let out a sigh, "That means..."

Tzuyu left the JYP building yet again after 15 minutes of resting. She walked along a random road. She did not know where to go next. She wandered endlessly before walking past a familiar restaurant.

Tzuyu and the older girl were going for a walk around the city of Seoul. The younger girl was the one to initiate the outing much to the older girl's delight. Tzuyu made the bold move of linking arms with the older girl, much to the latter's surprise.

The two girl's walk around the city was calm and peaceful. They made small talk about the things that they saw and shared stories. They laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

"Unnie, how about we eat here?" Tzuyu asked as she pointed at an Italian restaurant.

"Sure, I'm kind of craving pasta right now," the older girl replied as she guided Tzuyu into the restaurant.

The restaurant was small and quaint but still cozy and warm. The low lighting set a romantic mood for the diners while soft classical music played in the background. It was the perfect setting for a serious occasion or a nice date.

A waiter guided Tzuyu and the older girl to their table for two, placed two menus on the table and excused himself. Tzuyu pulled out the chair for the older girl to sit, much to the older girl's gratitude, before sitting down across from her. The two quickly looked through the menu and made their order with their waiter who they called over.

"I like the atmosphere here; it's really nice and romantic," the older girl commented while looking around the restaurant.

"It's a perfect place for a beautiful woman like yourself," Tzuyu subconsciously spoke while staring at the older girl.

The older girl snapped her head in Tzuyu's direction at the younger girl's unexpected words, "Sorry?"

Tzuyu's eyes widened in surprise at her own words before blushing, "I said that I enjoyed this outing with you."

The older girl nodded her head in understanding but was unconvinced by Tzuyu's words, "She can't be... Can she?" she thought to herself.

"Anyways, I've always wondered, what kind of flowers do you like?" Tzuyu suddenly asked.
