We're in danger.
This place, apparently, is Wicked. It's run by Wicked. And they're not actually rescuing us, they're still experimenting on us. So now, we are all running down the hallways in a frenzy. We've managed not to run into any guards, but that's guaranteed to happen soon.
I just followed Tommy as he led the group down the hallways of the huge building. Aris and Winston ran off somewhere, saying he had something he needed to do.
"Can we really trust this guy?" Minho asked as Aris and Winston crawled back into the vents and we began running through the halls.
"You don't wanna know where we'd be without him," Thomas insisted. dWe ran and eventually found ourselves hiding in a room as a few doctors walked past. We stood there for a second when Chuck looked over and saw Teresa laying on a hospital bed, sleeping. We quickly woke her and told her to come with us.
We didn't have time to explain, but she followed reluctantly.
We ran for a few more minutes, but we were pretty sure we were lost. Tommy went to turn a corner, but stopped and hid behind the wall. He motioned for us to be quiet, and we all did. That's when we heard two voices talking quietly.
"What if they come looking for her? Wasn't she in the maze with them?"
Were they talking about us?
"I don't know. We're not done running tests, but she's still unconscious. We can't let them get to her - the process isn't complete," another voice said. Were they talking about Y/n? Thomas sighed in frustration and told us to go on three. I couldn't help but think about how familiar this was.
He held up one finger, then two, then three. And we all ran around the corner to see two doctors walking down the hallway. Thomas ran forward and tackled the first one to the ground, Minho did the same for the other one. Thomas grabbed the man by the collar of his shirt and pushed him up against the wall.
"Where is she?" He asked angrily. The doctor was silent. I was starting to get pissed off. I ran forward and pushed Tommy over a little, grabbing the man by his collar. Tommy looked a little shocked, but I was pissed.
I threw a right hook and I think I might have cracked something in his face.
"Where is she?" I growled. He cautiously pointed down the hallway and said a number.
"342," he whispered shakily. I dropped him back down to the ground and we ran down the hallway, reading the room numbers on the way. We were being chased by guards. We eventually came to room 342 and saw Y/n unconscious on a hospital bed.
She was really pale, and her arms had a few small cuts on them. So did her face. What did they do to her? I rushed forward and tried waking her up, to no avail. The guys locked the door and shoved a chair underneath it. It wasn't much help, but it bought us a little time.
Minho was holding a gun he had gotten from the guard he took down at the doctors in the room while Thomas was tying them up and trying to figure out what they did to her.
"Y/n? Y/n can you hear me? I need you to wake up, Y/n," I whispered, shaking her shoulder a little. I made sure it wasn't the injured one, first. "Wake up."
Her eyes finally fluttered open.
"Newt?" She whispered hoarsely. Her voice was close to gone. Had she been yelling?
