18- Sayonara, Casanova

I've got to so something. What should I do? Do I help him, protect him, keep him safe? Do I try to stop him? I don't know, but I can't sit here and do nothing anymore. My hands wiggled out of their restraints and I untied my legs attached to the chair. My mind wondered elsewhere for a slight moment and I snickered at the thought of me running around with a chair stuck to my leg.

Multiple wolves continued to run up and attack him just to knocked back down and, well, killed.

I can't waste time thinking, I need to act.

"Laurance, what are you doing? Stop it! This isn't you!" he's not paying attention to me, it's no use speaking to him.

I sprinted up to him in attempts to restrain him. That didn't work either, he just threw me off. I skidded across the ground until coming into contact with a stone.

There goes the gorgeous dress.

Aphmau tried to stop him. She tried speaking to him like I did but it still didn't work so... she kissed him to snap out of it. Makes sense, he's obssessed with her. It's disgusting, totally revolting.

Well, it worked so what's done is done.

He transitioned back to normal and looked around at the scenery before him. A horrifie expression formed across his face after laying his eyes at his most recent work. "I did this?" he asked, disappointed and terrified with himself. Aphmau reluctantly nodded.

Abby thanked us for freeing her, but ran off the first chance she had because she didn't want to be associated with murderers or whatever. Katelyn soon figured out she was Jeffrey's child, and went to run after her. I'm sure we'll just catch up with her later though.

Laurance engulfed Aphmau with an embrace, sobbing. She tightly hugged him back, scared that if she let go he might go crazy again. And the Prince...

Fenir stealthily yet swiftly sprinted up to him, undetected by neither Aph nor Laurance, who was too busy reflecting on his actions like a kid.

"LAURANCE!"

I bellowed his name ran as fast as I could towards him, jumping in front of the knife. It's difficult to say what happened next as it all happened in a flash.

Fenirs face turned into pure shock and regret, I sighed, knowing he was just acting on impulse like someone else I know.

"Run." I told him. I get where he's coming from, Laurance did just brutally murder his family and everyone he's ever known.

Fenir did as I asked him to and disappeared into the trees.

"Y/n!" Laurance cried, figuring out I have literally just been stabbed. I laughed a bit. I just got stabbed lmao. Aphmau couldn't move, she was shaking. Laurance started to run toward the same direction of the wolf, but I weakly grabbed ahold of his wrist.

"Don't," I smiled, "just stay with me."

He was still sobbing. I'm surprised he could see from how much tears were building up on his eyes and streaming down his cheeks, "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault."

"Don't be fucking stupid. I chose to do this." my magicks isn't helping with the pain, hopefully I get better luck with that department in my next life.

He pushed pressure onto the wound around the knife.

"Ow! What the fuck are you doing?"

He could barely speak but he managed to blurt out, "Putting pressure on the wound reduces blood loss, we could find someone who can help you." he looked to Aph, "You can help her right? You have healing powers, I know you can help her!"

He's such an idiot, she can't control her power that well yet.

"I was hit in the stomach, Laurance," I laughed, "I'm fucking dying you baboon, putting pressure on the wound can only help to an extent, we're way too far away from another village that could help me."

Aphmau bent down next to me, going out of her mind to use her magicks. I pushed her arms away, "It's not working, don't worry about it. You've only known me for a few weeks anyway. You tried your best."

"I don't care how long I've known you!" Aph screamed, "I need to help you!"

"It's fine. Please stop worrying, you've already helped me in ways you can't understand." I giggled despite the pain, and then looked at Laurance once more. "Isn't this the third time I've saved your life? You need to be more careful. You only have one more of those." And I have none left lol.

I'm beginning to lose consciousness now, "Happy birthday to me."

"It's your birthday!?" Aphmau and Laurance both spat out.

"Well, yeah. I just didn't want to make a big deal about me on your special day." I smirked and winked at Aph.

I messed up Laurance's hair, before I could take my hand away, he already had it trapped inside bith of his hands.

"Sayonara, Casanova."
