(If you see that there aren't as many chapters as you'd hoped, don't worry, each chapter is roughly about 1000-3000 words each. Enjoy!)
The four wizards are back at it again! Returning to Hogwarts with the boys looking like they haven't seen a barbe...
He laughs and walks over to Fred, as I walk over to the couch next to Ron. I sit myself down and start fanning my face. Hermione sits next to me and moves my hands from my face, smiling at me. "So...." She starts, holding my wrists. "So, George just asked me to the ball.." I take my wrists out of her hands and her jaw drops. "And...?" She asks again. "Let's not talk about this here." I grip her arm and dash up to the girl's dorms, her arm still in my grasp.
Both of us sit on my bed and I start, "Well, George asked me to the ball, but as a friend."
"As a friend?" She says, looking at me suspiciously. "Yes, as a friend. Apparently, the twins know about my thing for..you know..." My sentence drifts off and she completes it for me, "Your thing for Ron?" I put my hand over her mouth, shushing her really loudly.
"Don't say it! I don't know if he's listening!" I complain, taking my hand off her face. "Fine, fine." She smiles as I get up, starting to pace around the room. "What's wrong now?" Hermione asks. "Well, I really wanted to go with Ron, but he never asked me so...I don't know what to do. I don't want him to think George and I are dating!" I cross my arms and stop in the middle of the room once I say that.
"Hermione, what am I going to do? He's Ron's brother!" I ask, sitting next to her again. "You're going to go to the ball, have fun with George, and if Ron gets jealous, he gets jealous! It's his fault that he didn't ask you first." She says, placing an arm on my shoulder. "Don't worry, Y/n. The Ball's going to be fun!" She continues to encourage me.
"Alright, alright, I believe you." I confess. I lay back on my bed and start falling asleep, being extremely tired from the long day I've had.

The day of the Yule ball has to be the most stressful day of all. Everyone's running around the castle, preparing their outfits and the Hall for the dance. A bunch of people are going to Madam Malkin's and I'd expect it to be very crowded. Luckily for us, there are no classes today so all everyone is focusing on is the Ball.
I dig through my trunk and pull out a simple, nice, bright red dress that has a long 'V' shape down the middle and slit down the thigh with gold heels and a small box containing one small bit of jewelry in it.

I place them all on my bed, then dash out into the Common Room to try and find Hermione and Ginny. "Hermione! Ginny! Where are you? Aren't we supposed to be getting ready together?" I hear Ginny from the couch, "HERMIONE, WE'VE GOT TO GET DRESSED!" I see her drag Hermione up the stairs and into our dorm. "There you guys are! I was getting worried that I had to get ready by myself." I smile and the both of them lay out their things like I did.
I do everyone's makeup, Ginny does everyone's hair and Hermione judges, since she can't do makeup or hair herself. "How do I look?" I ask, coming out of the changing area. Both of their jaws drop. "I think it's a bit much, right? I should change-" I get cut off by both of them frantically waving their hands in the air while yelling for me not to change. I smile and sit, putting on a little rose necklace I had bought at Madam Malkin's that matched with the dress.
