"Exactly What I'm saying." I laughed. "Why are we going shopping, I'm broke, I can barely afford like Nando's,"
"Because you- oh um," Freya began but Simon coughed over her.
"You have great style," Talia said.
"I wear a hoodie and black jeans every day," I said. "Very stylish"
"I mean I wear the same as you," Josh laughed.
"True dat bro," I said and cringed at myself. "I haven't said that in like 5 years."
"We're here," Freya shouted. We exited the car and the two couple walked behind each other holding hands with each other. Me and Harry were just behind.
"Want a doughnut, my treat," Harry asked.
"Sure, why not," I said smiling. We went and bought them and began eating them. I saw Freya and Talia hiding behind a statue looking at us. "Where do you want to go first?" I asked.
"I'm not bothered, I don't really like shopping," he said.
"Neither, shopping online for me please" I said and he laughed. We sat down on a bench and just waited for the others to be done shopping, we were sat there for about 3 hours before we decided to go to get some food. We decided on F&B so we got a table and sat together, we ordered and ate the food. We got the bill. I grabbed it and got my card out.
"Youre not paying for it," he said.
"Yes I am, you bought doughnuts." I said as the waitress walked over to us. I gave her a £5 tip and I payed. We left and decided to see where the others were. They were at the entrance so you walked towards them. After 5 minutes we saw them and they walked over to us. I saw all of them holding each other's hands and I realised that I actually liked Harry, during this time I had slowed down my walking drastically. I looked up from the ground and saw Harry looking at me and the guys walking out of the door. I began to speed up my walking to catch up with Harry and he grabbed my hand and pulled me so we caught up with the guys. He let go as we reached them. I accidentally zoned out again but I wasn't in any thought this time. He pulled me to the side.
"Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded. In all honesty I didn't know what was wrong, I just couldn't focus on reality. "What's wrong?"
"I- um, I don't know," I said, I couldn't feel anything. I began to itch my thumb again.
"Hey, hey" he says grabbing my hand, "stop it," He sais and I looked up at him. "Smile," and i did, it wasn't real but all I wanted to do is make him happy. "Now come on," he said guiding me to the others who were looking at us. We walked to them. All of us got into the Uber and I got a text.
Freya: what happened between you too
Lexi: nothing
Freya: something happened
Lexi: I can't feel anything, like emotions
Freya: What?
Lexi: idk, like I keep fading out of reality, I can't focus on anything and I can't feel emotions
Freya looked at me as she passed Talia her phone to look at the messages, both of their faces were now confused. I shrugged. "I don't know"
"When?" Talia asked.
"Like an hour or so, i don't know"
"Did something happen?" Freya asked.
"No," I simply answered.
"Think of.. pigeons," Freya said.
"Pigeons?" I asked.
