"Oh god, April. I am so fucking sorry." She panicked while Alex picked some tissues from the nearest table and handed them over to me.
"OH, It's okay Stac, it's fine. I will go clean it up." I said while Stacy was still trying to clean up my dress when I held her hand.
"It's more than okay, Stac. Don't worry."
"Okay let's go, clean it up." She offered.
"No .. no .. noo I will go clean it up. Why don't you stay here and keep Alex company." I said and playfully winked at her. Stacy furiously blushed at my comment.
"I'll be right back," I said and then made my way towards the washroom. The locker room was closed so I had to use the washroom in the corridors.
After cleaning myself up I checked the time. The freshers were almost over so I hurried a little.
I didn't want to miss the last dance.
While exiting the washroom I heard someone shout.
"What the fuck are you doing here with April, Aiden!?"
As soon as I hear my name I take a step back, without making any other noise. It was Madison.
"What's the problem with you Madison?"
It was Aiden
What are they doing here? Is Madison so crazy that she can not get over this already?
"This wasn't the deal we made Aiden." She spoke out loud. Her voice sounded like she was drunk.
Deal? What is she talking about?
"Madison, you are drunk, okay? We will talk about it later." Aiden said.
"No... no, no-no-no. You said this before too. But then you parade in with her after you rejected me! Why?" Madison shouted.
"Madison.." before he could say anything she spoke up again my heart was beating hard, I had a very bad feeling about everything at this point.
"You said this was all a joke, you said it was for revenge then what happened??!!" Madison said so loud enough to make my heart drop.
Hearing what she said made my knees wobbly. What is she saying? It's not true. Aiden can not do that to me. He can't steep so low.
"Madison!" Aiden raised his voice for the first time in the conversation. "You have no idea what you are talking about." He said.
"Please Aiden, save these lies for her. I very well know what you are trying to do. This act that you are putting up is top-notch I must say." She said with her stumbled words.
"Madison, please. Let me take you home. You are way too drunk." Aiden said.
"Now you care about me?" She mocked. "You know what...? I am gonna tell her everything. How you used Josh and how you made him the bad guy so you can swoop in and be her hero."
My heart skipped a beat. My vision became foggy. My head was in clouds like I was gonna faint at any second. What is she saying? What does she mean? Oh god, let this be a lie. The corridors were empty and dark, the voice still echoed in my ears.
"Madison please, it's different. I will explain everything to you later. Just please don't say another word." I heard Aiden say, his voice was concerned, worried.
I felt numb and betrayed and pathetic. How could I ever let this happen to me? Me? how did I fall for this pathetic act of his! I just stood there, numb.
I took a step and another so that I was visible. Madison was surly drunk because she couldn't stand straight. She stumbled a little when Aiden caught her. While she was trying to regain her balance I guess Aiden noticed me.
