"Hey guys, just so we are on the same boat, can we maybe keep what happened to me a secret. The whole getting magical powers and finding out I'm Altean. I told Sam to not tell anyone when he left. And he said he wouldn't." I said.

"Y/N, we would be more than happy to keep your secret. But your powers, well, if it comes to anything-"

"I would be ready. I just don't want to lay out all this change to everyone." I said.

"You mean James." Lance deadpanned.

"Whose James?" Allura asked.

"Her boyfriend." Pidge teased.

"Well, that's a bit of a stretch. We were together and doing great until I snuck away on a alien spaceship. Besides, James has a temper, I'm sure he's pissed. He didn't exactly like Keith. And with him probably finding out whats happening because of Pidge's dad." I rambled.

"I still don't know how the two of you ended up together." Keith sighed.

"Honestly, he was the Garrisons golden boy, and managed to piss almost everyone off." Lance groaned.

"Yes, but our relationship was great when we were alone." I shrugged. "Although he was displeased when I hung out with Keith."

"Yeah. I remember that." Keith said, rolling his eyes. Allura gave us a look.

"Like Keith, I didn't really have parents. My mom died when I was 6 and I've never met my dad. So me and Keith grew up the same. Only difference is that I got into the Garrison because I was 2nd next to James." I explained.

"Im sure he won't be as mad as you think. I saw it with my own eyes, you had him wrapped around your finger." Pidge said.

"Yeah, but we flew away on Blue the day of our 3 year anniversary together." I pointed out. "Plus, not really telling your significant other that you, are not, in fact dead after leaving your home planet isn't exactly the same as getting into an argument about night versus morning showers."

"Who takes morning showers." Lance shouted. "You need to go to bed clean."

"Besides, my relationship isn't exactly the first thing on my mind going back home." That was a lie.

"How long do you think it will take us to get home?" Keith asked Coran. He started doing his finger counting.

"I was just calculating that now. Without the luxury of a wormhole and with diminished power cores, let me see," he started mumbling math stuff. "Ah, its gonna take us approximately 150,000 Earth years."
