Muttering annoyed I whined in pain. This type of stuff used to hurt a lot less. Primus I'd gone soft. Getting up ignoring all the pain I started getting my tools to patch myself up. At least I knew Miko was safe but Megatron had seen me...
This wasn't good.
Miko's P.O.V
"Scrap." Staring at Megatron and his plasma gun I wasn't sure what to do. I couldn't out run that blast. Frozen in shock I closed my eyes as it went off but then something hit me. Hard. And it wasn't a plasma cannon! Rolling I looked up only to see a mysterious figure above me. They'd saved me! But they were hurt!
After calling Bulk to get the mysterious person Jack grabbed my arm forcing me away from the battle and my injured hero.
"Miko let's go!" He shouted pulling me behind some giant rocks for cover. The blaster fire rang out around us as tiny rocks fell from the earth shaking.
"Wait! Hey they could still be hurt!" I protested trying to pull away from Jack to get to them. They saved me it was only cool if I returned the favor!
"Well the bots can handle it. It'll be us next if you keep running into trouble!" Jack scolded yelling to be heard over all the noise. He looked out at my hero while I looked for Bulkhead, he was coming towards us! We'd be okay! But that didn't stop my anger. Jack wasn't in charge of me!
"What are you my freaking dad?!" I yelled pulling my arm away from him. "Don't tell me what to do. You're not the boss of me!" I screeched frustrated.
"No I'm not but at least I'm not running head first into battles! Do you ever think about anything?!" Jack questioned me. My face burned at that. I'm not stupid. I may not like school and suck at it but that doesn't make me stupid!
"I run into battle because I want to help unlike you boring pants!" I screamed back anger fueling my stupid words but I needed something, anything. I wasn't just some stupid crazy kid. They saved my life the least I could do is save there's. About to run away from our cover a vehicon was flung at Jack and me.
"In! In! In!!!" Bulkhead shouted opening his doors driving in front of all of us. Jumping in he slammed his door shut back pedaling before zooming away from the rocks we were behind which exploded from the vehicon hitting them hard. Taking a snapshot I smirked.
"Sweet save Bulk! Ten points!" I shouted watching the vehicon explode against the rock snapping a quick picture.
'Bulk how are the kids?' Arcee commed Bulk blaster fire heard in the background as she shot at more cons.
"Were fine Cee." Jack replied leaning forward in his seat. Looking out the window I saw my hero was gone. They must've escaped in the commotion!
'Good. Bulk get them out of here!' Arcee ordered as she continued to fight Bee beeping in agreement.
"Let's go. I'm dropping you guys off at you're houses so Ratchet can bridge you to base then I'm going back to fight." Bulk stated driving away from the fight. Dropping us off in town he was about to drive away when I grabbed his door handle.
"Frag Bulk my friend from school lives near where you guys were fighting! We have to check on them!" I shouted worried. What if they heard the noise? It was only a mile or so away and with all the gun fire it must be really loud. What if they l. got hurt? Like that person who saved me...
"Miko calm down. If a civies in danger we might as well go to make sure there okay. Just tell me where they are." Bulk soothed pulling away from the curb.
"The old science observatory. Just a mile off from the canyons. Maybe two and a half from the battle field." I answered hoping they were okay.
"On it." He said before picking up his speed and taking off.
