You and Sherlock began pumping out cases left and right, faster than you ever had in the past. You were working on two to three cases all at the same time. Relaying information to each other and the police as you quickly solved each one. Of course they all ended up being typed up in John's blog. Some of the cases he'd titled: Dusty Death, The Duplicate Man, The Circus Torso, The Canary Trainer, The Cardiac Arrest, and so many more. It had to be at the top of the list of being one of the best weeks of your life.
John was worried you and Sherlock were spinning cases too fast and that it was too much for the both of you, but you were having so much fun! You felt closer to Sherlock than you had in such a long time. Both of your energies were soaring. You'd never been in such enthused moods for such a long period of time. It felt great, it was truly a natural high.
But even though you did feel enthused and were happier in your relationship than you ever had been, something felt off inside you at the same time. You had increased energy in the mornings while you worked, but you were more exhausted than you'd ever been at nights. You weren't exactly sure what it was, but you were too happy to be overly worried about it. You were sure it was just the extra work time you'd piled onto your shoulders. Maybe you did need a day off... No, you thought. You didn't want a day off with all the fun you were having! You'd just arrived home from one of your cases, laughing along with Sherlock and John.
"A jellyfish?!" John laughed as you all began to head up the stairs towards 221B.
"I know." Sherlock nodded.
"You can't arrest a jellyfish."
"Well... you could try." You shrugged, not able to withhold your laugh.
"We did try." John burst into laughter at the fact you'd literally tried to arrest a jellyfish. You'd been bored and it was a really interesting case!
"What's for dinner? I'm starving after I saw that-" You stopped as John's phone went off in his pocket and he pulled it out, looking at the screen. His grin quickly changed as he looked at the screen. "Oh God." That wasn't good, you thought with a nervous face.
"Mary?" Sherlock questioned.
"Fifty-nine missed calls." He spoke, giving you and Sherlock both panicked looks.
"We're in a lot of trouble." Sherlock spoke as he hurried back down the stairs, you and John quickly following behind.

"Oh my God! Oh my God!" Mary screamed in the back of the car as John drove a little faster than he should down the street. He looked nervously in the rear-view mirror at Mary who was clutching the handle on the ceiling of the car so tightly her knuckles were a shade of white.
"Relax. It's got two syllables..." He tried to help. You sat in the back with her, blinking blankly at her. Your mind had gone blank. John was driving recklessly and you felt sick to the stomach.
"I'm a nurse, darling. I think I know what to do." She shouted, grunting in pain and clutching her stomach with her free hand.
"Come on then, come on." He breathed. You knew John was going to just make the situation worse than it already was in Mary's eyes. She was clearly in a lot of pain.
"Re..." Mary took a deep breath in.
"...lax." John blew out a breath.
"No, just drive! Please, God, just drive! God, drive!" She demanded angrily, uncomfortably moving her position in the seat.
"Y/n, can't you like, do something?!" John looked up at you in the mirror and saw your vacant stare. "Y/n!" He shouted. You shook your head hard, looking panicked at Mary as you came to.
"I think I'm going to throw up." You muttered. You suddenly began feeling queasy. This really wasn't the best moment to be getting sick. Your stomach churned as John drove quickly down the street and Mary continued to grunt in pain. You felt bad you weren't able to help, but your head was spinning, you were sure even if you tried you wouldn't be helpful.
"You've got to be kidding." John sighed. "Haven't you done something like this before?!" John yelled. Mary's screams continued as you covered your mouth, holding back your vomit. This stuff usually never bothered you, but something about Mary's painful screams and the way John was driving made you sick to your stomach. John's driving was already making you motion sick, along with Mary's screams, your head felt like it was about to implode.
"I..." You stuttered, looking at Mary as her breathing quickened, this wasn't good. "Do you have a bag?"
"God! Sherlock?!" John turned to Sherlock in the passenger seat, who was tweeting on his phone.
"That's it, Mary. Re..." Sherlock began blankly, still looking at his phone. This only seemed to be making Mary more upset than she already was.
"Don't you start!" She groaned, clutching her dress in her hands as she leaned into the window in obvious pain. "John? John, I think you need to pull over." She breathed rapidly. Your mind blanked on everything you knew that could possibly help Mary as you quickly rolled down your window to get fresh air.
"Mary, Mary..." John looked at her nervously.
"PULL OVER!" Mary demanded.
"Oh, God." You leaned further out the window, trying not to throw up. You couldn't do this, not now. Mary needed you, but for some reason, you just... couldn't even look at her at the moment. You clenched your eyes shut tight, mentally removing yourself from the situation as Mary's screams continued.
