I felt my heart start beating a little faster before unlocking the phone to look at the message. It was basically him asking if we could talk later and I really didn't know what to say. 

I confessed that I had feelings for him which was actually really embarrassing. I just typed sure before closing my phone and looking back up to Jay who was just now finishing up counting cash.

Just based off of what he had in his hand I'd say was a good two thousand dollars, maybe even more than that—who knows. On queue, the waiter came over and took the bill with Jay tipping her.

He nodded for us to leave so I stood up and walked with him to the exit. We walked outside and over to his car that looked really nice. He had a whole Tesla and might I say these things are one of my favorite cars.

I got inside on the passenger seat as he got in on the drivers side. After we put on our seatbelts, Jay pulled off and started playing music. I don't know where we were going and I didn't bother asking so I just looked out of the window as we passed things by.

Suddenly he stops the music, "You know Tye never was like how he is now. He was one of the chillest people I knew and hated getting in mess which he rarely even did. I just know that he has no ill will towards you so cut him some slack and I also want to know why you seem more on edge around him if I was there too—I thought you'd be really nervous around me or something?"

"Probably because your friend Jabaris said that he'd have to be the one to kill me. Plus I live kid of live with him and there's nobody around when I'm alone with him so anything goes. I was just surrounded by people in that restaurant so I'm not as nervous around you I guess." I answered as a low laugh escaped Jay's lips before they formed a straight line.

"First, me and Jabaris aren't friends I Openly don't like that nigga, and second you're saying you would be scared around me right now since there's nobody around?" He says as I shook my head.

"I mean not really since there are other people on the street so they would see if you try anything." I joked as Jay let out a playful sigh.

"People aren't worried about what goes on in other peoples cars."

"Would you let me have a sense of safety, please." I retorted causing him to cackle.

For some reason I'm not actually scared to be around Jay. The way I feel around him is like calming and not nervous nor scared. I like it but the only obstacle I'd have to overcome is Noah.

As I knocked on the front door I stood nervously as I heard the locks turn and the door open. I was face to face with Noah who looked amazing. He had a haircut and he was dressed nicely.

"Hey, uh come in." He said wile putting his hands in his pocket. I walked past him and into the living room as he closed the door and followed me. Noah offered me a smile that made my heart flutter and walked over to me.

"So how's your day?" He questions as I shrug.

"It was alright, I had seafood today." I answered whilst he nodded. I still couldn't shake the feeling that I got when I was around him. It was like the feelings that I have for this man just makes me feel like I'm under some sort of spell.

I know he has always has that effect on many other people as well so it's not unique. I just wish that I could be under him, but that obviously won't happen no time soon.

"So I wanted to talk to you about what you had said to me yesterday. Since you left so early I didn't get to say what I wanted to say, but I doubt you wouldn't want to hear it. I'm only telling you because i don't want to leave you hanging."
