"Princess, please. You must recognize me." The red-head rushed over to me grabbing onto my hand. "I'm Felix. Felix Robane. Please, Princess." He begged with tears in his eyes. My heart hurt seeing him like this. He looked so sad but I really don't know who he is. "I'm sorry. But I truly don't know who you are. Maybe you are mistaking me for someone else?" I suggest pulling my hand away from him. He looked down backing away in defeat.

"You Magician. You were suppose to fix her. Why doesn't she know who we are?" The blonde one commanded from Lucas. They really think they know who I am. I wish they would stop acting as if I forgot my memories.

"This may not be completely because of her mana. It may be because she has been hurt by you so much emotionally and mentally that after this accident it seems her brain that was under a lot of stress decided to shut out anything related to you. But it could also because of all the magic. I'm not so sure." Lucas explains to him.

Accident? What magic accident did I have? Is Blackie okay? What is happening?

"What is this? Some sort of punishment?"

I look back at the blonde guy. Punishment?

"This must be, isn't it." He continues. Even though he was looking at me it seemed he was talking to himself. He looks so exhausted as if he hasn't slept for days. Why do I feel bad for this man? He then turned around walking out the door without another word.

"Lucas, what happened?" I asked Lucas.

"We were celebrating your eighteenth birthday when Blackie came rushing to you and when Jennette came to also-" Felix says but I cut him off. "Who is Jennette?" I ask him. "She is the other Princess." Felix answers. Other princess? "When she touched Blackie and you a large electric shock came from you. You then screamed so loudly in agony as you fell to your knees. You then puked up blood. So much blood. I tried to reach you but then a bright light came from you that comepletely covered you, Blackie, and even Princess Jennette. His Majesty ran to you and into the light. After His Majesty ran into the light it soon disappeared and you were passed out in His Majesty's arms with Princess Jennette passed out on the ground." Felix explains everything.

"His Majesty made me bring Princess Jennette to her room and he brung you here, to his bedroom. He stayed by you every morning and slept on the couch. We were all so worried for you." Felix finishes.

"Yep, you did the exact opposite of what I told you. Now not only did you absorb Blackie which was already dangerous and I took so many precautions before I left to prevent that from happening. You also absorbed the damn chimera's magic." Lucas scolds me pacing back and forth.

"What do you mean before you disappeared? And about how you told me to stay away from them?" I ask Lucas. "You forgot I left? Well that is a little touching that it was so sad to you that you actually forgot I left." Lucas smiled at me.

"Lucas! Stop it! Stop saying I forgot!" I glare at him. "I just learned that you lost your memories, Athanasia. And honestly it's something that I'm least concerned for." Lucas tells me. "What do you mean?" I ask. He seemed uncomfortable.

"Lily, Felix leave the room." Lucas tells them.

"No. I want to know too." Lily says. "Yeah, what is worse than her forgetting us?" Felix agrees with Lily.

"Lily, please just for a few minutes and Felix I'm sorry but I don't really want you to be here either. It's all just uncomfortable right now." I try to be as nice as I could.

Lily stared at me for a little bit seeming conflicted before sighing. "Okay, I'll be back in a few minutes." Lily says kissing my forehead. "Athy." Felix stares at me as if searching for something. He knows my nickname? Lily must have told him. He then nodded and left the room with Lily. As the door closed I looked up at Lucas.

I try to to get out of the bed but I instantly fall. Thankfully Lucas caught me and stood me back up. "You have been unconscious for three months. Your muscles have weakened." Lucas explains to having me sit back down on the bed. "So I had another accident with Blackie. I was even unconscious longer than last time." Lucas nodded.

"I left seven months ago to find the World Tree. I just returned a little over a month ago. Before then you were in some way getting closer to His Majesty and that chimera." Lucas explains to me. "The chimera you speak of is the other princess Felix spoke of earlier?" I ask.

"Yes." Lucas confirms.

"Okay." I nod in understanding. "Why is she a chimera though?" I ask.

"She is human, but is made artificialy from the late emperor with black magic. It's quite interesting why he would want to make a child out of black magic when using black magic never ends up good. This means she isn't even related to the Imperial family. No royal blood runs through her veins but since a person that is a royal with royal blood created her through black magic himself she posses the jeweled eyes." Lucas explains.

"Why does this matter?" I ask.

Lucas then became quite as he looked at me. "When you absorbed Blackie you somehow managed to absorb her black magic as well." Lucas says looking me straight in the eye. That means Blackue is gone then.

"Yes you said that earlier. Why is it such a big issue, it's just some magic?" I ask.

"Black magic is very dangerous when used. Yet she literally is made of it. That means she is undoubtly cursed. So she is most likely a danger to those close to her without her even knowing that she is dangerous herself. Yet I still don't know the purpose of her creation so she may not be I didn't have enough mana to know for sure at the time. Although it's easy to guess it wasn't for something good. But I do know you absorbed her black magic." Lucas says still not getting to the point. I narrow my eyes at Lucas questioningly. Lucas then sighs looking upset and even sad.

"Athanasia, the black magic is killing you and I still haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of it."
