"Why can't we just fly over there again?" Bam asked, feeling incredibly disturbed by the sweat that rolled across his eyebrow and unable to wipe it away.

"Because it will cause suspicion and we don't want that. Plus, this way is more fun."

I jumped towards the next loosened brick, skillfully spider climbing up and onto the next one.

The rest clambered up, with Elaine barely managing.

Poor girl lol.

I finally reached the window, pushing it open and entering inside upon seeing the (f/c) carpet.

I don't lock my windows just in case these things happen.

Finally, the others toppled inside and over each other, breathing heavily.

"Welcome to my room." I said.

They haven't changed this room one bit, but it's not dirty in the slightest.

The Polaroid pictures and tumblr lights still hangs on my walls and ceilings. They took good care of my room and that's really surprising.

"Who's this?" Khun pointed towards one of the pictures I pasted on the wall.

"That's Brigitte. My cousin." I answered. The picture showed us laughing with each other by a pond.

It wasn't just an old boring pond. The rocks and mushrooms that gathered there somehow shines every night. The pond itself seemed to shine. Fireflies managed to built nests in the trees surrounding it too.

He then pointed to the picture next to it. A brunette boy and girl- me- holding hands by the balcony in our teen years. "And who's-"

"You got more clothes than me."

I looked behind me to find Elaine rummaging through my walk in closet.

"No! No snooping around!" I pulled her away from the closet to which she responded with a pout.

"We need to get a move on. Let's go."

We had managed to sneak past a lot of guards by hiding behind pillars and potted plants.

I lead the way as we turned a corner. When I peeked out, a guard was walking towards us.

Shit, there's no hiding place-!

We ended up sneaking into a room, the library, to avoid them.

As I continued backing away from the door, my back hits something hard, and a hand on my shoulders.

I turned around, meeting a tall brunette. He wore an official uniform. though not Armour, he still had a red cape flowing behind him, the crest pinned it together.

"Y/n." He greeted, nodding politely. "It's been a while."

"Cas!" I jumped up at the tall man, putting an arm around his neck.

He staggered back in surprise, but hugged back, his confused frown turning into a gentle smile.

"Guys, I found mister captain of the guards!" I pointed a finger rudely at hus face, also pulling him down to my height by his collar.

"Don't call me that." He muttered. Turning towards the rest of the team, he nodded, "nice to meet you all. I hope this scoundrel hasn't murdered any of your companions."

I gasped, "why do people keep accusing me of murdering people! I just got back! Where's the respect!"

Cas looked at me with eyes that screams 'you should know why'

"Thankfully she hasn't." Khun mumbled, pulling me towards him and holding me secure in his arms.

I lifted a brow at him.

The brunette shrugged it off - thankfully - and kept his emotionless facade on. "What are you up to now?"

"Tryna go to my dad. You know, the throne room."

He nodded, handing me a key. "That's the spare secret lair key. I'll tell the guards to avoid patrolling near the throne room."

I snorted, "you still have it?"

Cas looked away and walked out the library. "It's my momento."
