Family means forever

Part Two - Chapter One

"Sit" she shouts.

I immediately sit, still looking at my brothers who are smirking. Mrs Lewis struts to the receptionists and sighs.

"These girls are here to see the principal" she says.

My brothers smirks soon turns to glares. Xander walks over and crosses his arms.

"What have you done?" He asks.

"Nothing" I reply, it's kind of the truth "all I was doing was laughing" I add.

He looks at me skeptically, his one eyebrow raised like he didn't believe me.

"Bullshit" he says.

"Honestly" I say, raising my hands.

"You're in so much trouble when you get home" Xavier joins in, holding up his phone.

"What? For laughing?" I ask, annoyed.

"Well, you got send down here didn't you?" Xander says.

"Yeah but-"

"Exactly so you're in trouble" Xavier butts in.

"Oh whatever" I reply, crossing my arms.

They just ruined my mood.

The door opens to the principals office and he walks out. He sighs when he sees Violet but soon looks shocked when he sees me.

"Ladies come on in" he says, opening the door for us.

I stand up and glare at my brothers. I walk behind Violet into the office doors. Even though it's been a gear I have never been in here. It's actually nicer than I expected, it is very modern. I don't know what I expected but it wasn't this.

I sit in one of the large black chairs in front of the oak desk in front of me. This reminds me of when I'm in trouble at home but Vince is a lot more scary than the principal.

Principal King sits opposite us, placing his elbows on the desk and he leans forward.

"Now, why are you two in my office?" He asks.

"To be completely honest I don't know" Violet shrugs

He turns to me.

"I'm here for laughing, literally" I answer.

"Now I'm sure it's more than just laughing" he says.

"I swear, I'm here because I was laughing" I reply.

"She is" Violet says "I was making her laugh from behind the door" she admits.

I couldn't help but smile, she knows I'll get into trouble when I get home, is she was trying to ease my punishment.

Principal King nods, he checks his watch and sighs.

"Look girls, it's ten minutes until the school day is over. I need to be leaving then. If I let this slide and let's say I give you both a lunch detention tomorrow, can we agree you will not be sent here for a stupid reason again"  he says.

We both nod "yes sir"

"Okay, great" he says "now you may leave. If you would like you can go straight home" he adds.

"Okay, bye sir" I say with a small, awkward wave.

Violet turns to me after we get out of the office, she sends me a small smile.

"Sorry if I've gotten you into trouble" she says.

"Vi it's fine! Honestly" I say.
