"It's okay girls, Michiko is friendly" Eli walked over to the both of you with Michiko walking behind him.

"I'm really curious about the new survivor, and what a fine lady she is" Michiko covered her mouth with her fan.

"Why, thank you so much. You're very much a fine lady yourself. Michiko was it? I'm (y/n)(l/n), very nice to meet you" You introduced yourself.

"My (y/n), you sure know how to flatter others don't you" Michiko praised.

"Haha. Thank you, thank you"

The four of you decoded the next cipher while chit-chatting. Talking about your skills and your past to Michiko and vice-versa. Michiko also offered that you use your skill to see if it'll affect the hunter or not, and it did. While the you, Emily, and Eli are decoding. A cipher popped in the distance, you immediately thought of Jose.

"Oh yeah, did Jose know that the hunter is friendly?" You asked Eli.

"He does. In fact, we were decoding together earlier. But he left when I was talking with Michiko. I don't know why, but he's always distancing himself like this whenever he's in a friendly match" Eli replied.

Jose is a quiet and collected person, but he's not shy nor antisocial. At least, that's the Jose you knew. He has changed over the years.

"Also, I'm kinda skeptical about your story of you always singing with Jose. Jose dislikes music right? I just couldn't imagine" Michiko looked at your way.

Yes. It also shocked you so much when the others said Jose disliked music, the Jose Baden that always sing with you at the shore. On the other hand, you're the one who can't imagine Jose disliking music. When he said "that song sounded familiar" towards the song you two made together, means he'd forgotten about the song, and possibly about you as well. You want to ask why. Then again, Jose avoids opening up to people. He only talks when it's necesarry, and never did he once talk about his past since he came to the manor. Or at least that's what the other survivors said. Almost all past information of him came from you.

Of course this made you curious what made Jose change so much. What made him became a completely different person? Also, you not able to read his mind anymore kinda scares you a bit. What if someday he'll just forget about you and your memories together altogether?

A long moment has passed, and the cipher you three was decoding is popped. At the same time, Jose popped the last cipher, siren rang across the map. The four of you went to the exit gate. Emily is entering the password while Eli is giving points to Michiko using his owl, and Jose.... In nowhere to be found.

'He must be at the other exit gate' You thought to yourself.

"Guys, I'm gonna look for Jose at the other exit gate okay?" You ask for your leave to the group.

"Oh, sure thing (y/n). Be careful on your way there" Michiko said in her Prajna form.

'be careful of what?' you chuckled internally.

With a wave of goodbye to Michiko, you ran towards the other exit gate. You hope that you're not late catching up to Jose. Good thing Arms Factory is a small map. Just from a little while of running, you can already see the other exit gate from the distance. You saw someone still entering the password over at the pad.

"There he is, JO--se..."

When you're about to call out to Jose, you're stopped by a series of familiar tunes hummed in the a very familiar voice. This is your childhood song, the song you made with Jose. And Jose, is humming it right now. He still remembered, though maybe the reason he hummed it instead of actually singing is probably because he forgot the lyrics. He remembering the song is already sending overwhelming warmth inside your heart.
