"Master Kenobi, glad Ahsoka and Makaria found you, I am." He greeted them with a smile, but Obi-Wan kept his serious expression.

"Master Yoda, we are trapped here, and vastly outnumbered. We are in no position to go anywhere or do anything." Obi-Wan informed the Master who hummed thoughtfully as he continued. "Our support ships have all been destroyed."

"Send reinforcements to-to you, w-w-we wi-ill." The transmission crackled and Yoda began flickering in and out of view and his voice became unintelligible.

"Master Yoda? Master Yoda?" Obi-Wan called before the blue figure flickered permanently out of view and the clone officer reappeared.

"We've lost the transmission, sir." The clone officer told them as another officer came into view.

"We have to leave orbit immediately. More enemy ships have just arrived. We'll get back to you as soon as we can." The officer told them before fading out as well. Makaria's eyebrows were raised in concern as she pressed her lips in a firm line.

"Well, I guess we'll have to hold out a little longer," Anakin said sarcastically and Ahsoka and Makaria looked to the ground, regretting that they couldn't have been more helpful.

Obi-Wan looked at the two of them with a gentle smile. "My apologies, young ones. It's time for a proper introduction." He started, walking around the holotable towards them. "I already know Makaria, of course, but what was your name again?"

"I'm the new padawan learner. I'm Ahsoka Tano." She introduced, looking up at the master who was roughly a foot taller than her.

Obi-Wan's brows pinched and he looked to Makaria who seemed confused at his confusion. "I'm sorry, young one, but I was under the impression that Makaria was going to be my new padawan." He said to Ahsoka questionably.

"She is, I've been assigned to Master Skywalker," Ahsoka told him, gesturing to the other Jedi who was standing nearby.

"What?" Anakin exclaimed and Obi-Wan watched in amusement as he circled around them, placing Obi-Wan in front of him. "No, no, no. There must be some mistake. He's the one who wanted the padawan."

"No," Ahsoka denied firmly, folding her arms. "Master Yoda was very specific. I'm assigned to Anakin Skywalker and he is to supervise my Jedi training." She recited and Obi-Wan and Makaria smirked at Anakin who looked an amusing combination of confused and scared out of his mind, a very different look for him.

"But that doesn't make any sense--" Anakin started, but was cut off by Obi-Wan.

"We'll have to sort this out later. It won't be long before those droids figure out a way around our cannons." Obi-Wan reminded them.

"I'll check on Rex in the lookout post," Anakin replied, his voice gruff and filled with annoyance at this whole situation.

"You'd better take her with you," Obi-Wan told him, patting Ahsoka's back and Makaria nudged her forward. Though Anakin's back was turned, they could sense that he rolled his eyes and stopped for Ahsoka to follow him. Ahsoka looked between Obi-Wan and Makaria gratefully and rushed to follow him. Obi-Wan and Makaria smiled as they watched them walk away and he placed his hand on her shoulder. "How are you doing, Ari? I would've asked on Geonosis, but that didn't seem like a good time for either of us." He asked and she chuckled.

"Yeah, you seemed a bit tied up." She joked and followed him as he began to walk around, inspecting the area. "I'm doing well, Master. Ever since Geonosis, I've been holed up in Kamino training with clones while the Council figured out what to do with me and... the other padawans who... lost their masters." She replied, her voice trailing off towards the end and Obi-Wan looked down at her mournfully.
