Family means forever

Part Two - Chapter Five

Annoyed, I turn around and look for the twins. I spot them joking about by the mens swimwear. I walk over to them and tap their shoulders.

"What's up?" They ask.

"The lady at the desk was being rude to me and she said I couldn't put it on the tab because I'm not eighteen" I whine.

The pair glance at each other and they no longer have their joking faces on, they now look angry. I gulp, maybe I shouldn't have told on her. Xander grabs my arm and pulls me over to the desk, the woman nonchalantly moves her eyes towards my my brothers and I. However her eyes grow wide and she sits up immediately.

"Is she bothering you sir?" She asks.

I scoff, how dare she.

"No, she's not" Xander states "She is my little sister and she has complained to us that you were being rude to her"

"O.oh no i..I wasn't being rude t..o h..her" She stutters, making it overly obvious she was.

"Are you sure? because I don't think our sister would lie to us" Xavier says.

"she must be lying, I wasn't being rude" she says defensively.

"This is obviously a issue" Xavier states "I will go and get Vincent, my oldest brother to sort this out" he adds walking out of the store.

The woman nods, she turns to me and sends me daggers.

"I think it would be best if you didn't send me dirty looks" I say confidently.

I raise my eyebrows, shocked at my reaction. Usually, I'm quiet in these situations.

Within minutes Vince and the rest of my brothers walk in, as usual Vince looks extremely calm. He strides over to the counter and clears his throat.

"I was informed there was a issue here, regarding my younger sister" He says.

"Yes, s..she accused m..m..e of being rude to her" The woman says.

"Right" Vince says "What is your name?" he asks.

"Y..you don't need to know" she stutters.

"Yes, I do need to know as I will be reporting you to reception" he states.

"Paige" she says.

He nods "Will you answer me one question?" he asks.

"Yes..s" she answers.

"Why would my perfectly well behaved, respectful young sister complain about you if you hadn't said anything" he asks.

Warmth fills my veins, Vince thinks perfectly well behaves and respectful.

"I..I dont know?" she says.

Vince sighs clearly frustrated with the woman.

"The stuttering and the small tremble of your lip suggests otherwise" He states "I would like to see your manager immediately, whilst my siblings have these swimsuits and enter the pool" he adds.

"Yes sir" Paige sighs, dialling the managers number.

"I will meet you all once I have finished here" Vince says.

We nod and I make my way into the changing rooms.

"Be quick Evanna!" Blake calls.

"Okay" I call back.

I quickly get changed quickly, following my brothers instructions. I walk out of the changing rooms and the familiar aroma of chlorine hits me, I look around the pool to find my brothers and I spot Xander and Xavier tackling each other into the pool. I wrap my arms around myself to shield the cold air from hitting me. I place a foot into the pool and immediately bring it back out. This is defiantly a lot colder than the pool back home.

Suddenly two hands push the back of me and I fall into the freezing, I resurface spluttering everywhere. I look up to see Blake on the floor in hysterics, I narrow my eyes and glare at him.

"Blake!" I whine "Why did you do that?" I ask.

"You were asking for it bambina" he grins "You shoulda just jumped in"

"I didnt have a chance to just 'jump in'" I snap.

"I was just playing" he laughs raising his hands in surrender.

I swim over to the side of the pool and smirk, what would happen if I pushed Blake in. I mean i'd make sure he didn't have his phone and wallet and stuff. I nod to myself and get out, I sit on the near by seats and pout, hoping Blake will notice.

Thankfully he does, he sits beside me and sighs.

"Evanna I'm sorry" he says "I was only joking and I thought you'd find it funny"

"It's fine" I say "it's just really cold"

"Sorry bambina" he says, hugging me from the side.

"Can I take a picture of you" I smile.

"Why?" He asks.

"I don't know" I shrug "to look back on and be like 'oh that was the time I pushed Evanna into the pool'"

He takes out his phone and luckily he gives his wallet to Grayson. He hands me his phone and walks poolside.

I take the picture and look to the side to see Vince walking in, this is going to be even better.

I walk over to Blake and show his the photo, he smiles and nods.

"Looks good" he says.

I take my chance and I charge towards him, pushing him into the water. However he grabs my arm last minute pulling me in with him.

I look up the see my brothers laughing, even Vince looks amused. I turn to Blake who has a face like thunder. He climbs out of the pool in his dripping wet clothes.

"Evanna I had my fucking watch on" he growls.

My heart immediately jumps to my throat and I nervously get out of the pool. I walk over to him.

"Blake I'm so sorry" I say, looking down at my feet.

"It's a Rolex, it costs 10,000 fucking dollars" he says, pulling it off.

I glance at Vince who is staring at me, but I couldn't work out whether he's mad or whether he just doesn't care.

"Blake honestly..I'm s..so sorry" I say.

"Bit late now Evanna" he barks.

I nervously bite my lip, I don't know what to do. I just ruined my brothers super expensive watch, I always fuck things up.

After a long five minutes of silence Blake bursts out into laughter. Confused, I stare up at him.

"Got you" he says poking a finger at my face.

"What?" I reply.

"It's water proof dip shit" he says with a large grin.

My heart slows back down to a normal pace as I suck in a large deep breath.

"What the fuck! You scared the shit outta me" I say holding a hand to my heart.

My brothers all raise their eyebrows, amused expression on everyone apart from Vince.

"Repeat what you just said Evanna" he says.

"What the fudge, you scared the sugar outta me?" I say, however it sounds more like a question than an answer.

"Well I believe I heard differently"

Hope you enjoyed, this was a little rushed so I do apologise for that. Please ignore any mistakes :) and also I have tired to changed the date in the last chapter to 1975 rather than 1983 but I'm not sure if it's actually changed so if someone could check it for me that would be greatly appreciated 💕

The update on Monday may be a little later than usual as my schedule is full this weekend.
