"Dinner's ready"

"Oh.. right", you got up from your seat and walked over to Yeonjun.

Yeonjun flashed you a cocky smiled as he began to leave your room. Unsure what you should say next, you just decided to follow him quietly.

~~~
"Y/n, how are you feeling?", Yeonjun's mother cried as she came over and gave you a hug.
"I'm great.. Thank.. You", you said between breaths as Mikyong hugged you a little tighter than she should have.
"That's wonderful", she grinned as she let go of you and turned towards the large dining table. "Now you're seat is beside Yeonjun's"
You gave her a smile and a slight nod before making your way to your seat. Yeonjun was already sitting at the table so it made it much easier to identify where you had to go.
Carefully, you pulled the chair out slightly and sat down beside the boy who was completely engrossed with his phone.
"I thought phones weren't allowed at the table"
Yeonjun turned to face you and shrugged. "I don't really abide by rules that I disagree with"
"Oh yeah, I forgot that you're mister I break all the school rules", you chuckled.
Yeonjun rolled his eyes as he turned off his phone and placed it on the table. "Happy?"
"I sure am", you smiled.
Moments later, Mikyong burst back into the room, followed by the kitchen staff that they had. With her head held high, she gracefully walked over to the table and took a seat across from Yeonjun and I.
As her eyes landed on Yeonjun's phone, she cocked an eyebrow.
"You're not on your phone?", she looks up from the phone and directs her gaze onto you. "Usually I have to tell him multiple times that I don't like phones being used at the table. I'm pleasantly surprised Yeonjun"
You look over to Yeonjun and notice that his cheeks were tinted in a light shade of pink. Was he seriously embarrassed by his mother's words. You couldn't help but snicker slightly as stared at the boy. So much for being a tough bully.
Even though you tried to laugh quietly, Yeonjun still managed to hear you. Instantly he looked down at you and frowned.
"You find that funny?"
"Something like that", you say as you try to control your laughter.
As you looked back to the table in front of you, you noticed that there was now a variety of food placed onto the table. Everything looked so good, so you couldn't help but drool. It had been so long since you had eaten a good meal; sure when you lived with your dad you would cook, but it was no match to the plethora of food before you.
Mikyong's smile started to grow as she caught a glimpse of your excited form. Never had she seen someone so excited to have dinner, well a part from one person. In many ways, Mikyong could see herself in you. She wasn't always rich and successful, in fact she lived exactly like you did. Her parents divorced when she was younger and she unfortunately got stuck living with a parent who didn't care for her at all. Perhaps that was why she wanted to ensure you were safe. She didn't want you to suffer like she did.
After dinner, you politely thanked the kitchen staff and Mikyong for the meal and made your way back to your room. It was getting late and you didn't want to intrude on anything, especially since Yeonjun's father would be arriving at any moment. You hadn't met him yet and in reality, you didn't want to meet him. From what you'd heard from Mikyong during your tutoring, he seemed like a very intimidating man. So, you retreated to your safe haven and decided to remain there for the rest of the night.
Hours had passed and it was now nearing midnight when you heard the faint sound of a knock on your door.
"Come in", you said as you sat up in your bed.
To your surprise, Mikyong slowly opened the door and gave you a sweet smile. Even though she wasn't dressed in her usually formal attire, you still like stunning.
"Sorry to come her so late darling, but I had something I wanted to ask you"
Mikyong walked across the room and took a seat on the side of your bed, turning her head so she could look at you.
"What is it?", you asked with confusion. What was so important that she had to ask you at this hour.
"I know you've gone through a lot dear and returning to school must be the last thing on your mind. So I'm here to make a proposal. I actually am a fully qualified teacher as you know and I normally only work a few days a week. So, i was wondering if you'd like me to home school you"
Your jaw dropped. She couldn't be serious? Could she?
