Chapter 16: Boys n' Bras

Y/N and I join Ian, Damien, and Noah at the table. Y/N sits in the center and I sit beside her.

"Alright let's do this!" Sarah shouts, "Three, two, one!"

Courtney walks on screen and explains the rules, she stands behind Y/N and puts her hands on her shoulders, "We have one girl with us today, her name is Y/N. But you guys should know that by now. Y/N, how are you feeling?"

"I am feeling scared, excited, and a little bit queezy because I can smell some nastiness." Y/N laughs.

"Hahaha, good." Courtney says grabbing a plate of bread, "Eat this and prep your stomachs!"

We all take the bread and eat it before Courtney comes out with the first dish. She uncovers it and it looks like a dumpling. Noah rings the bell and when he pops it in his mouth his face goes red.

"Oh my gosh! Did you put a whole pepper in here?!" Noah yells, throwing his head back. Garrett just laughs and continues watching Noah struggle. He eventually swallows it and you can see the sweat dripping down his face.

"That was a ghost pepper dumpling! A whole ghost pepper wrapped in dumpling dough." Courtney announces. Sarah hands Noah a bottle of water and he chugs it.

Courtney puts the next dish on the table and it looks like chocolate pudding. Y/N and I both go for the bell and our hands land on the bell together. We narrow our eyes at each other not moving our hands from each others.

"Okayyyyy, so... I don't know what to do here?" Courtney chuckles.

"You know what? I'm feeling nice, Y/N can have it." I say not breaking eye contact with Y/N.

"Then remove your hand from the bell." Y/N smiles, narrowing her eyes at me. I pause for a moment as my mind flips through memories of waking up next to her and kissing her. Her smile grows slightly bigger and I slowly remove my hand.

Courtney pushes the dish towards Y/N and we count down. Y/N shovels a huge spoonful into her mouth and Garrett half gasps and half laughs. Y/N shoots him a look of panic and then her eyes start to glass over.

She covers her mouth with her hand and says, "I promise I'm not crying, this is just triggering my eyes."

We laugh and she slams her hand on the table and shakes her head. I grab the yeet bucket from behind me and put it beside her. She shuts her eyes and swallows it. She sticks out her tongue to prove she swallowed it and opens her eyes, which now tears streaming out of them.

"I don't know how you did that, but holy crap Garrett." Y/N laughs.

"What do you think it was?" Courtney asks.

"Man... I think that was chocolate pudding mixed with a crap ton of malic acid. Chocolate pudding isn't supposed to be sour and that was nasty. Nothing should be that sour! Especially chocolate!" Y/N says, wiping tears from her face.

"You are correct. That was sour chocolate pudding." Courtney laughs.

I grab the spoon and pick up some of the pudding.

"Shayne no, what are you doing?" Y/N asks, putting her hand on my arm. I put the spoon in my mouth. "Shayne nooooo." Y/N sighs.
