? chapter eleven ?

      The girls didn't see one another until lunch time. The seven girls sat around their usual lunch table and chattered away happily.

"I am literally so excited for the Camp Everfree Trip! It's gonna be so awesome!" Pinkie squealed.

"I know! I can't wait any longer," Dash joined in.

Sunset glanced at Twilight.
      "What about you? You excited?" Sunset said to her friend, who fiddled with her glasses.

"Yes," Twilight nodded, "I am excited, it's gonna be fun."

The girls happily agreed, and stood up to clear their plates. They walked and talked around the school together. Sunset and Rainbow tagged along behind. Rainbow looked up into Sunset's eyes.

"What?" Sunset giggled.

Rainbow shook her head, "Nothing." She then linked her arms with her girlfriend's. The pair laughed. They knew they were a cute couple, but didn't admit it. They also knew that they would have to tell their friends some time soon, even if Dash was only just recovering after coming out her parents, and that not going so well....

Twilight caught up to the pair as they were talking. "Hey guys, what are you talking about."

    Twilight had clearly noticed that Sunset and Dash's arms were linked, but she didn't mention it. After all, it meant nothing.

"Oh nothing" Rainbow smirked.

     "Ok... Well, as I said to Sunset earlier, I'm happy to help you guys find the anonymous texter," Twilight grinned.

    Sunset looked at Dash immediately, who hesitated before nodding.

     
  "Thanks Twi! We could use someone good with technology," Rainbow smiled, and Twilight returned it.

  Twilight then made an elaborate breathe in, "So... I -um- noticed you guys are getting... pretty close," Twilight's mouth stretched across her face. It wasn't a smile, but it was a strange grin.

    Rainbow Dash smirked, "Yeah, Sunset let me move into her place yesterday, so that's why."

   Susnet's eyes widened. She didn't realise that Dash was intending to so openly tell Twilight. The fiery-haired girl nodded.

   "Oh... really? How come?" Twilight asked.

   "My parents are being jerks..." Dash stated.

   "You can say that again," Sunset mumbled under her breathe. Dash heard it and chuckled.

    Twilight smiled and nodded, before waving to the girls and walking ahead.

Once Twilight, and the others, were out of sight, Dash then came to a halt, turned to directly face Sunset, and kissed her, in the openness of the corridor.

     Sunset's eyes widened, and she pulled away, worried that someone would see them.

        "Dash you can't just do that!" Sunset said, flustered.

        Rainbow stared at her for a second, "Why not?"

        Sunset immediately felt bad, but she couldn't stop feeling embarrassed.
       "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. I just was... surprised," she tried to smile and lighten the mood.

    Rainbow nodded, and walked over to her own locker, "It's cool. I'm getting used to us being a couple, and I had a sudden urge to kiss you just then."

   Rainbow Dash said it with such passion that it caused Sunset to burst out laughing. Unfortunately though, the bell rang, and the pair had to separate for class.

Rainbow Dash met with Twilight and Applejack, who were all in her next glass, and the trio walked together.
     Rainbow yawned, and then groaned.

"Did ya not get any sleep?" Applejack asked Rainbow Dash, who had bags under her eyes.

"Yeah, Sunset's sofa is actually super comfy. I guess I'm just tired from trying to find out who these stupid texts are from," Dash scoffed.

"Wait, did ya sleep at Sunset's?" Applejack asked. Rainbow nodded, but didn't want to explain, which Applejack accepted, "Well, ah can assure you it's not me," she added.

"Yeah, me neither," Twilight butted in.

"Yeah, I believe you guys. I'm just so frustrated, that's all," Rainbow groaned again.

"We'll figure it out. Someone's just trynna keep you and Sunset from being a couple, for some reason. How do they know anyway?" Applejack asked, but before Dash could reply, or even think of a reply, Twilight yelled out.

"Wait what?! You guys are dating? As in, you and Sunset, a couple?" Twilight raised her eyebrows. She wasn't sure herself why she was so shocked. It had been pretty obvious that Sunset had had feelings for Dash for a long time, but Twilight had no idea that they would actually end up being together.

"Yeah, hehe. Very recently though. We were planning on telling the others later today so you wouldn't have missed out on anything...." Rainbow laughed, then turned to face AJ again, "But, like you asked, the 'texter' didn't specifically mention that they knew me and Sunset were... a thing... They just wanna keep us apart."

Applejack hummed to herself, and as the trio approached the classroom they finished up their conversation.
"Well, we need to take this seriously. Later maybe we can go through the messages and gather up the info we know?" Applejack suggested.

"I'll help too!" Twilight added.

"Awesome, and Sunset will wanna help too, so I'll talk to her later," Dash smiled. They nodded to each other and spread themselves out across the classroom, to their allocated seats to begin the lesson.

Of everyone, Twilight was the most concerned about this. Not so much the texting issue. Well, if she wasn't being honest, she didn't know what was bugging her. It was something that was said in their conversation, but she didn't know what, and she spent the entire lesson trying to figure it out.
After class ended, she pulled out her phone and sent individual texts to Sunset, Dash and AJ, inviting them over to her place after school, so they could carry through their investigation on the texting situation.

Sunset received the message while in the school bathroom. She was on her way to Rainbow's classroom so they could walk home together.

Hey Sunset! Me, Dash and AJ decided that we should meet at my place after school to sort out this 'texting thing' for good. They're obsessed with finding out who it is. Also we can just have fun and talk. Come meet me at my class and we can talk about it x

Sunset smiled, however just as she went to put her phone away, another message appeared on the screen, from a contact named '?'

"You gay little idiots! You ignored what I said, Sunset! Rainbow Dash has dangerous emotions. DONT say I didn't warn you!"

Sunset wanted to scream, but instead she put her phone away, and joined the others, so they could head over to Twilight's place.
