[Chapter 2] Operation: BEGIN!

|~"Operation: Button of Love"~|

"[Your Name] will walk over to us with Minamoto, bringing him to Yashiro! I found an opening earlier and grabbed one of his buttons. All that Yashiro needs to do is sew it back on and boost his affection! [Your Name] will be in charge of luring him over!"

I recalled the plan Hanako briefly explained as I went around and tried to find Minamoto. I eventually found him by the lockers. I tapped his shoulder, alerting him of my presence.

"Hey Teru!" I smiled whilst waving a little, "Wanna go on a walk with me?"

"Sure, I'm pretty beat and I could use a little break." He replied, closing his locker.

We walked side by side as I led him closer to where Yashiro and Hanako were at. We were talking about random stuff until we came back onto the topic of what happened this morning with the vegetables.

"I'm still really confused about the vegetables..." He confessed, I nervously grinned.

"Same here, I don't know anyone who could've done that." I lied, knowing fully well who did. "What do you plan on doing with those vegetables anyway?"

"I'll probably give them to Kou, you know how much he likes to cook." He replied nonchalantly.

"True. Oh Teru? You're missing a button." I pointed out, pretending that I had just noticed.

"Oh, you're right."

"I have a good friend of mine who will gladly sew one back on for you-" I got cut off as a crowd of students began throwing buttons for Minamoto to use. I could see Yashiro and Hanako scooting away, Yashiro with a dejected look on her face.

I grabbed Minamoto's wrist as I dragged him out of the crowd who were still throwing buttons at each other. I brought him into the Student Council room where there were less people so that we wouldn't have another crowd of people throwing buttons at us again.

"So uh, what about my button?" The blonde questioned sheepishly.

"Actually, my friend might be a little busy right now." I said, assuming that Hanako was probably giving Yashiro another plan right now. I grabbed a sewing kit off from a shelf. "I'll just use one of the spare ones from this kit and sew it back on for you."

"I didn't know you could sew [Your Name]." He spoke, a hint of surprise lacing his voice.

"I only know some basic stitches. Other than that, I'm pretty much a noob." I chuckled bashfully. "Now sit, I don't won't to be attacked by another button again."

|~"Operation: Boxed Lunch"~|

I walked over to Hanako and Yashiro who were spying at a second year classroom from behind a wall. More specifically, Minamoto Teru's classroom. I placed myself just behind them as I watched as well.

"And what did you plan this time?" I asked Hanako.

"I told Yashiro to make a bento for her senpai!" He proclaimed, showing me the recipe book.

"Oh, that should be okay. What recipe did you choose?"

"This one! It looked awesome!" He said, opening the book and pointing to a monster character bento recipe.

"Hanako! You made Yashiro cook a monster bento! That's just gonna confuse and freak out the poor guy even more!" I scolded.

I saw Minamoto walk out of the classroom with a wrapped up bento in his hands, heading to the 'Lost and Found' room. I glared at Hanako who put his hands up in defence and smiled nervously.
