This event was not mentioned in the book. When Mo Xian woke up, he was in a small inn with an unknown female disciple right next to him.

It turned out that she accidentally found him unconscious in the forest and decided to bring him back to her Master.

Mo Xian then regarded the two as his benefactors and didn't suspect anything.

He left with them once his injuries got better, vowing to come back to this place for revenge.

In the meantime, Zhao Zhen was caught and locked away by Hiu Liuxian.

He Tian dutifully reported, “You meditated for three months. One and a half years faster than Zhao Zhen. Are you going out now?”

Shi Shen slowly stood up and slightly adjusted his collar. He then turned into a blue sword light after leaving a sentence.

“There is an angry hedgehog at home waiting to be coaxed.”
