The two walked a few blocks to a nearby coffee shop. Upon reaching the doors a somewhat familiar voice stopped Oliver.

"Oliver Queen?" The younger dark haired man hesitantly began. Oliver turned, not sure who to expect. To his surprise the young man stood behind him, if he wouldn't have said anything Oliver would've written him off as just another passers-by.

"Riley?" Oliver replied, still surprised by this serendipitous meeting. The younger man smiled and nodded his head excitedly, as would a dog who just obeyed an order.

"Wow, I didn't think I'd run into you anytime soon." Riley stated as he shook Oliver's extended hand.

"It's been a long time." He added, still smiling and continuing to shake Oliver's hand.

"Yes it has. Last time I saw you was when Thea tried to convince you to go to the Alps with us, by hiding you in a suitcase." Oliver replied, finally pulling his hand back from the extended greeting. The two laughed.

"Thankfully it was a carry-on." Riley smiled and shifted the bag over his shoulder.

"I was sorry to hear about your parents. They were both really great people." Oliver nodded, appreciative of the comment.

"And how is your mother?" Oliver asked.

"She passed away a few years after you went missing." Riley's smile somewhat dissappearing.

"I'm sorry to hear that. She was a lovely person." Oliver conveyed, understanding the difficulty of such a topic.

"So what have you been up to?" Oliver was quick to change the topic.

"I just got back in town, I'm actually looking for a job." Riley explained when he noticed an atracive blonde stop beside Oliver holding two cups of coffee. Felicity smiled as she handed Oliver his beverage and awaited the introduction.

"Thank you. Felicity this Riley Fitzgerald an old friend of Thea's. Riley this is my friend Felicity Smoak." Oliver angled himself between the two as Riley extended his hand.

"I've actually heard of you. Well I read about you...in a magazine." Riley nervoualy began as he shook Felicity's hand. Felicity smiled and tilted her head, somewhat surprised by the comment. Oliver too shared with an slightly bewildered expression.

"It was an article about Ray Palmer, he talked about how he felt giving you control of Palmer Technologies was the best move for the company and it's future. And I must say after reading what you did for the company I completly agree with his decision. Your work in the medical field of Palmer Technologies alone was brilliant." Felicity nearly blushed, it had been awhile since someone took notice in her accomplishments outside of helping the Arrow.

"Thank you. It's nice to feel appreciated." Felicity replied, keeping herself from looking directly at Oliver. Oliver took the comment and knew it was meant for him and his behavior for the past few months.

"It's actually called Queen Technologies now." Oliver added, attempting to reassert himself into the conversation. He quickly remembered meeting Barry Allen for the first time and how Felicity had acted toward him.

"Oh that's right, sorry. It's nice that you're back in the family business again." Riley stated, finally breaking his gaze from Felicity. Oliver forced a smile and nodded before looking to Felicity.

"Well I should get going. Lotta apartments to look through. But it was good to see you again Oliver and it was very nice to meet you Mrs. Smoak." Riley ended by turning his attention directly to Felicity now. Oliver caught Riley's last comment and fought back his look of disgust. Felicity smiled.
