The wind had picked up, and soon, the pair dueled their way to the ground. She panted as she reached the ground. Voldemort had his wand raised as he said,
"You are truly majestic, Black. It's a shame that such pure blood has to be spilled. If you don't join me I won't have any use for you. Such a pity that the blood-traitor will mourn for you. Join me, or I will kill you and everyone you love".
Beatrice's eyes glowed as she raised her hands creating her infamous orbs. She said,
"I will not join you, Tom. Not now, not ever. You killed my mother and father. Us Black's come back stronger and we never yield, not to you. If anyone is dying tonight, it's you".
She did not even recoil when a curse hit her orbs. She managed to make out the relentless killing curses the man sent. It was a wonder that her orbs were resisting the brunt of one of the greatest Wizard's forces. Her brows furrowed with sweat.
The trick was getting back up, even if you fell. She managed to dive away from a curse only to produce an orb and launch it toward's the unprotected side of Lord Voldemort. Everyone had a weakness. His weakness was that he breathed. Before he attacked, he took a breath. That was her chance.
As the pale man staggered and flinched clutching his side, he suddenly smirked and disappeared.
Harry. He was heading toward's the real Harry Potter.
She launched into the sky, searching relentlessly the streets for Hagrid's motorcycle. Once she found it, she saw Harry driving for an unconscious Hagrid. She screamed at him to press the gas pedal even further at her go.
Currents weaved through her every fiber as she took out the surrounding death eaters and even Voldemort himself. The light she produced blinded the army masked man as Harry disappeared into the sky.
Soon, she zoomed back to the second checkpoint, seeing as Sirius was gone, and probably at the Burrow, she scanned the area. A scream managed to resound from her throat as she sported a dying Mad-Eye Moody lurching the floor. She ran to him and tried to help the bleeding on his chest helplessly.
"No, No, No, Moody, this isn't your time. You still need to fight beside me! Please no!", she said gutturally.
Moody lifted a bloody hand to Beatrice's cheek, and with a dying breath said, "Aurora would be proud. Give him hell, Beatrice".
Nobody deserved to die alone. She stayed and held his hand for the next few seconds. His breathing ceased and his blue eyes stared lifelessly into the sky. She choked a sob and closed his eyes.
"May all the saints be with you, and lift you up to your glory, Moody".
She zoomed back to the sky and reached the third vacant checkpoint. She stayed in the area for a minute, before apparating back to the burrow. Her cheeks still sported tears, and her hands were caked with Moody's blood for when she tried to stop the bleeding.
Outside, Tonks, Sirius, and Remus were ushering as they heard the familiar crack. Remus's eyes widened and he ran with all his might to his goddaughter, taking in her bloodied appearance.
"Moony, it's not my blood-"
Not even after that, Remus pressed a wand to her neck. She cried even further. She never imagined being in this position except for in her dreams as her godfather said those blasted words to her.
"Who are you? Prove yourself!"
She dipped to her knees. Sirius lurched forward, but Remus stopped him. She heaved as she continued,
