Azula dragged Mai and I over to the fountain, then sat an apple on Mai's head, "Here's the way it goes. Now what you do is, try to knock the apple off the other person's head, like this."

Azula shot a flame at Mai, lighting the apple on fire. Before anyone could really react, I pushed Zuko back and tackled Mai into the fountain. Mai was mortified.

Azula pouted, "You weren't supposed to do that (Y/N)! You always ruin everything! Stupid weakling."

I helped Mai out of the water, "Azula, you could have hurt Mai. I'm sorry I was looking after the person you call a friend while you threaten her life."

I turned to the soaked ten-year-old, "Do you need me to do anything?"

She had a neutral look on her face, "No. Thank you (Y/N)."

She smiled slightly and went to go change.

After that, we became slightly closer. She was always nice to me, and every one in a while she would warn me about Azula's plans to embarrass me. It always annoyed Azula that she could never get to me like the others.

Mai had a small crush on Zuko, but she said that she would give him up for me in a heartbeat. She told me she knew I would make him truly happy. Back then I denied her claims every time she mentioned romance between me and Zuko.

I smiled at the memories.

Watched over the empty yard, that was until the prisoners were all released.

I met up with Sokka, Suki, and Hakoda.

Sokka grinned, "This is it! We have to start a riot."

Suki looked around, "Okay. But how do we do that?"

Hakoda smiled smugly, "I'll show you," He walked over and shoved a random prisoner.

The prisoner turned around, "Hey! What'd you do that for? That hurt my feelings."

Hakoda looked at the prisoner confused, "Aren't you mad at me?"

"Uh, well, normally I would be, but I've been learning to control my anger."

Sokka looked at me and Suki, "This isn't working."

"Hey you!" Chit Shang came over to us, "You're lucky I didn't rat you out, but my generosity comes with a price. I know you're planning another escape attempt, and I want in."

Sokka smirked, "Actually, we're trying to escape right now, but we need a riot. You wouldn't happen to know how to start one, would you?"

"A prison riot? Please," He went over, picked up a prisoner, held him over his head, and yelled to the other prisoners, "Hey! Riot!"

Within seconds, fire was flung around the yard. The riot had started. "Impressive."

"Forget about controlling my anger..." The 'calm' prisoner joined the riot, "let's riot!"

Zuko ran up to us, Sokka smiled, "Zuko! Good, we're all here. Now all we need to do is grab the warden, and get to the gondolas!"

Zuko took a deep breath, "And how do we do that?"

Sokka looked around, "I'm not sure."

I glared, "I thought you had this figured out man!"

"Zuko told me it's okay not to think everything through!"

I rolled my eyes, "And you now decided to listen to him!?"

Zuko defended his words, "Maybe not everything, but this is kind of important!"
