-26- The Boiling Rock Pt2

Chit spoke up, "Hey, uh, fellas. I think your girlfriend's taking care of it."

He pointed to Suki. We watched as she captured the warden. We ran after her.

When we stopped, Hakoda looked at his son, "That's some girl."

I could tell Sokka was proud, "Tell me about it."

We made a run for the gondola, Suki in the lead, "We're almost there!"

Zuko pushed Sokka out of the way of the fire blasts, "Back off! We've got the warden!" The guards took notice of the gagged warnen on Chit's shoulder, "Let's go!"

Suki opened the door to the gondola, "Everyone in!"

The gondola took off, Zuko broke the switch and Sokka pulled him on the gondola.

Sokka fussed at him, "What are you doing?"

"I'm making it so they can't stop us."

Sokka grinned, "Way to think ahead."

Suki smiled brightly, "We're on our way!"

Hakoda looked back on the prison, "Wait! Who's that?"

I rushed over to the window, I saw Ty Lee and Azula by the cable, "Zuko! Looks like we're gonna have a reunion!"

Zuko joined me at the window, "That's a problem. It's my sister and her friend."

We watched as they came for us. Suki grinned, "This is a rematch I've been waiting for."

Zuko smirked, "Me too."

I got ready, pulling out my hidden knife, "I've always been a better person than Azula, might as well prove I'm a better fighter."

Sokka, Suki, Zuko, and I climbed to the top of the gondola to meet Azula and Ty Lee. Ty Lee flipped into the air and landed in front of Suki, they began to fight. Azula pulled herself up onto the roof only to come face to face with Zuko, Sokka, and I. We closed in as she assumed a battle stance and took a slicing kick, and Zuko blocked her bright blue flames. Ty Lee and Suki traded blows. Ty Lee was forced to the edge but her attacks kept going. Zuko continued to wipe out Azula's fire blasts. Sokka draws her back to the edge with his sword. I went in for a finish, but Azula dodged my attack. She countered with a blast that went wide, almost striking Suki and Ty Lee.

"Cut the line!"

The gondola shook. I steadied myself and Zuko saved Sokka from falling over the edge.

"They're about to cut the line!"

"Then it's time to leave. Goodbye, Zuko," She flew off, using her flames as a booster to launch herself onto the other gondola.

I jumped into the gondola, "They're cutting the line! Gondola's about to go!"

The other's fell down.

Hakoda looked out the window, "I hope this thing floats."

~3rd person POV~

"What are you doing!?" A guard yelled at Mai, who stopped them from completely severing the line.

Mai looked up, seeing (Y/N) on the roof of the gondola, she watched as Zuko dropped down after her. A part of her hurt seeing them together, but Mai knew that they belonged together. She had told (Y/N) all those years ago that she would let her have Zuko. I guess it was time to keep her word.

She held up her knife, "Saving the jerk who dumped me."

~(Y/N)'s POV~

Sokka was over by the window, "Who's that?"

I ran over, watching as my old friend fought off the guards, "It's Mai. I can't believe it. But thinking back on it... It's not that surprising."

The gondola made it to the top of the hill.

Chit threw the warden into the gondola, Hakoda smirked, "Sorry, warden. Your record is officially broken."

We made it over the rim of the volcano, Suki looked at the group, "Well, we made it out. Now what?"

I noticed Zuko looking back at the prison, I placed my hand on his shoulder, "Zuko, what's wrong?"

"My sister was on that island."

Sokka pointed to the land beyond the volcano, "Yeah, and she's probably right behind us, so let's not stop!"

"What I mean is she must have come here somehow," He walked over a hill next to the sea, "There! That's our way out of here!" I smiled as we ran to the airship.

When Sokka, Zuko, and I returned in the airship, it was safe to say that Katara had questions, "What are you doing in this thing? What happened to the war balloon?"

Zuko shrugged, "It kind of got destroyed."

Aang looked us up and down, "Sounds like a crazy fishing trip."

Toph stod, "Did you at least get some good meat?"

Sokka beamed, "I did. The best meat of all. The meat of friendship and fatherhood."

The others came out of the ship. While the team gasped at Hakoda and Suki, Chit Shang waved, "I'm new. What's up, everybody?"

Katara ran up to her father with tears in her eyes, "Dad!"

"Hi, Katara," The two hugged.

"How are you here? What is going on? Where did you go?"

I laughed, "I don't know, I just know I fell asleep here, and woke up in a fire nation prison."

Zuko nugged me, "Hey! You agreed to go beforehand!"

Toph was unimpressed, "Seriously? You guys didn't find any meat?"
