Letter 3: Unexpected Surprise

Date: September 4
Place: St. Irish Academy's School Clinic (Address: 22 Maple Leaf Street, Evergreen Village, Blooming Field City)

"Um...is anyone here?" I asked after sliding the door to the clinic.

No one answered. I getting tired of this nick-nack already. Where's a real human being when I need one?!

Whatever, just lay him on the bed with the treatment and go straight to the classroom.

*Thud*

Finally, my body can relax from carrying that thing. All I need is the treatment. Now, where is it...

Now, why am I feeling that something or someone is holding me. When I looked down, it was the lunatic who was holding me. And what's worse is that he's holding my hand.

"Good morning..." said Carmelo.

"Shut up!" I exclaimed, "You scared the heck out of me. Anyway, let me go so that I can place the treatment on you forehead..."

"No," said Carmelo, "You stay here and entertain me. I'm already healed if you stay with me."

Shet, he's making me blush. I can't stand it any longer. I let go of his hand and immediately took the treatment in the cupboard. After that, I went to him and start placing it on his forehead.

"Stop looking at me and start sleeping!" I said.

"Why? Is it bad looking at you?" he asked, "You look actually cute when you near."

I covered his face with a pillow. I'm so annoyed at his attitude, I went out of the clinic while hearing the sound of his snickering. What a freak!

*Sigh*

When will I have a peaceful day? Anyway, I think it's best if I don't go to class until lunch arrives. Mr. Collins will definitely scold me once more when I enter the classroom empty-handed. I think it's best to make an excuse while staying at a place where no one will find me.

"Think, think, think Abigail," I said to myself, "Where can you stay and have a place with a lot of shade...?"

I found the answer! That's the place I will be going.

Place: St. Irish Academy's Overgrown Maple Tree (22 Maple Leaf Street, Evergreen Village, Blooming Field City)

Now, I can finally rest in peace.

No painful, stressful and high-blood pressure situations. I'm ready to rest under this big, old maple tree.

This place is my favorite spot aside from the school's rooftop. Only a few people are brave enough to stay under this tree.

Legends say that this tree will fall when your life is horrible because of love. Other says that it the home of the spirits that makes jokes and pranks to the people studying at this area. There are so many stories that I can't even imagine how people can live on with it. Whatever it is, it's still alive as it is today...

*Yawn*

Thinking all about what happened today makes me feel so tired. I think I should rest for awhile.

*Thud*

"Ouch!" I said.

That must have been the loudest sound I ever made. I almost forgot that this tree has a hole in the center.

But, why is the surface somewhat less rough? It's suppose to be rough since it the bark of a tree.

When I turned around, I saw a pretty looking box sitting in the tree's hole. It has a lace design with glitter. I'm so tempted to open it but couldn't. I wonder who owns it. It has no name on it.

"Oh well," I said, "If no one owns it, then it mine."

I'm such a devil. Even though I'm a class representative, I still have my flaws. I'm so attracted to pretty things.

When I opened it, I found a letter with a notebook and a pen. I checked the letter and it is sent to...

"ME?!" I shouted.

Now this is freaking out! Who would place this in the hole rather than placing it in my locker or desk. Is this a threat or a love letter?

Whatever it is, curiosity has gotten me. I opened the seal and took the paper that was in the envelope. What could it be?

I read the first part of the letter. It says:

Dear 16 year old Abigail,

I think I'm about to faint! Who the hell knows my age? This is really freaking me out. But then, I continued reading.

How's school? Is it fun being the class representative? I can tell your having a hard time because of Carmelo, right? You were so pissed at him because of annoying you so much. You even told it to your friends. You also...

This is really scaring me! These are the same events that happened today! This is giving me the chills.

Anyways, I want to tell this to you about Carmelo...

What about him? Abigail, stop it and continue.

You have to stop him from suiciding as much as possible.

Wait...what?!
