Now arrived you let Ikkaku deal with the tension between the two captains because that's the reason why you begged the brown-haired gal to accompany you. You were good with words and speech but that was it. Unintimidated, along with a member of the Kid Pirates, she managed to cease the discourteous squabble. You could barely hear what they were saying from behind the tree you chose as a protection. You felt incompetent to help so you'd rather stay away. In a disagreement, you were that one person to give up whatever their opinion was to give the point to the other.

"(y/n)-chan, where are you?" eventually vociferated your friend. "We're done here, get out of your hiding spot!"

Beginning by sticking your head out from behind the massive tree trunk, you finally came out and walked towards the gathering. As you did so, the tall and tattooed stoic young man that was Law walked past you, followed by your crewmate, your shyness hit you hard. It was the best for the negotiation that the captain left but facing a boiling Kid made you gulp. Is it safe? Can I go closer? You felt like a gazelle in the savana facing the intimidating predator that was the lion. It was quite a futile apprehending behavior to have as the notorious South Blue Pirate never seemed to mean you any harm.

He was going round and round in circles. His hair, looking like flames slightly moving to the wind, him breathing so loudly expressed quite clearly in what type of mood he was in. Disjointedly mumbling numerous things under his breath, his fur coat floating slightly behind him at every step. When he stopped, it touched his calves and when he started walking again, it floated yet again. He was taking the space he needed, the time he needed and that was it. He had no care in the world about how he looked in that exact moment. One thing was certain : his crewmates didn't have a care in the wolrd either as they just walked a bit away.

His threatening and agressive appearance and personnality never really made you worry for your safety. Eustass Kid. This man, as vicious and short-tempered he could be, what was it that made you feel secure around him? He wasn't the kindest or the most welcoming, kind of rude sometimes and yet...You liked him. No! It's for the crew you're doing this and only for the crew. Get a grip girl! This impossible love story won't bring you anything good! Nothing good can come from those guys...Nothing. "Kid seems to be especially fond of you." You didn't know if it was exactly the case but Bepo wasn't completely wrong. You did grow fond of him.

Clearing up your mind, youy decided to ignore his visible annoyment due to the recent quarrel between him and your very own captain and walked up to him.

Standing six-foot-height, you felt as an ant next to him. Maybe was that one of the reasons why it took him longer than you expected before he noticed your presence.

"Come on give up! I won't hear it! Don't even bother to say anything!"

"But I came here to talk to you, you see..."

"Are you serious!?" He exclaimed before looking you up and down for a few seconds. "Are you?" You nodded slowly, "Yes I am." He grumbled loudly. "Go ahead then ! Do your best to convince me!"

"You two will never get along."

"No shit!"

"And that's why I'm the one doing the exchanges," you continued. "We have to go to this point of method because no matter how bad you two get along, we need this alliance to achieve our separated goals. The same idea applied with all other alliances our crews had and every time it's touchy." He frowned. He was paying you attention. "You and Law, my captain, have your own visions and projects and that's alright. The thing is none of you is willing to compromise."
