Chapter 19: Let's wait

But... She still has the disease and it'll not be cured if she didn't take the surgery or if Lisa didn't reciprocate the love she's feeling.

For that three weeks... They stayed in Thailand because there's where Lisa took the surgery. The gang continued their work of course but through email. They work through email like sending files and projects to their employees, sending proposals and stocks. They just don't want to leave Lisa and Irene's side in the meantime.

"Fvck it, Jennie! I'm tired and I don't have time for your jealousy" Kai said frustratingly.

"But at Krystal, you have time? What a great alibi Jongin! I saw how you two look at each other's eyes! She even clings on your arm and if I didn't approach you two, you'll continue flirting!" Jennie yelled.

"We're not flirting! How many times do I have to tell you that she's just my secretary?!" Kai yelled back.

"Did you forgot that you're also my secretary before we get married?!"

"Well, that's before Jennie! I'm your husband now! Aren't you still happy?! Fvck this life!" Kai shouted then walked upstairs.

"Kai! We're not done yet! Kai!" Jennie shouted but the man didn't even look back at her.

She sat down on the sofa then brushed her face using her palms because of frustration. She's pregnant, she shouldn't be stressful but the jealousy is really hitting her.

Krystal didn't look like a secretary for her. She even heard rumors at the company that Kai and Krystal were caught kissing at the elevator but when she asked for the footage, it's surprisingly deleted already.

Kai and Jennie got married two weeks from now. Too early but Mr. Kim wanted it because Jennie needs to focus on her pregnancy and Kai is now the CEO of the company.

In that two weeks... Jennie saw how Kai changed and it saddens her but not that she's hurt... She don't know why but she's not hurt... She just doesn't want to accept it if she realizes that she choose the wrong decision on marrying Kai so yeah... She's forcing herself to believe that she choose the right path.

"Hey," Lisa said as she entered Irene's room.

"Hi" Irene greeted back then smile warmly at the walking woman in front of her.

"You're still not sleeping," Lisa said as she sat beside Irene's bed.

"As well as you" Irene answered back that made Lisa chuckle.

"Yeah," Lisa said then look at the floor.

Silence filled them and no one dared to talk but it's not awkward silence... It's kind of comfortable and warm. They feel like they can stay like that even for the whole day.

Lisa sitting beside Irene's bed while the latter is just laying there, staring at her room's ceiling.

The silence is really comforting for them.

After that night that Lisa runs away and she and Irene have a small talk... Lisa took the surgery the next morning and that's the last time that they saw each other because Irene is not allowed to leave her room as well as Lisa because she needs to stay at the hospital.

But of course... They feel like they have this special commitment to each other after Irene confessed her feelings that Lisa quickly understands and Irene even told her to make her Lisa's officially. Both of them have this special understanding of each other but they're still not talking about it.
