Chapter 3

"Oh, I just can't believe that time flies so fast that's all. You know Christmas is coming." I lied. He nodded.

After that, we have a conversation about the mysteries about Gravity Falls and he confirmed that the rumours about the town were all true and he's having a research about it. He said it too that's the reason why he moved to Gravity Falls. Few moments later, it stopped snowing.

"I have to go, Mr. Ford. Thank you for everything."

"Be safe. I have fun talking to you."

"Me too." I smiled.

"I feel really comfortable with you. Seems like I've met you before. You're awfully look familiar to me."

"Really? It seems like I have met you somewhere too. Better to go, thank you again." I said and waved at him goodbye.

I went to the exit and walked far away as I can where no one can see me and the tape measure. I pulled it out in my pocket and examined it again.

"Oh, I get it. The up button means going to the future while the down button means going to the past, silly me." I pulled the measure and clicked the up button. I landed in the alleyway, on the empty trash cans specifically, making my tape measure crush.

"Oh no, the tape measure." It sparked, indicating it was jammed. I stood up and moved forward. I must be in the Main Street of Gravity Falls. I was shock of what I've seen.

The waterfalls was pouring upside down, the unsettling part, it looks like a blood waterfalls. The town was on fire, the sky was red, monsters were scattered around the town and there's a floating pyramid under the ripped sky. I hid behind the trash can. What happened to Gravity Falls? I'm really sure I pulled the right time. Is this the future?

"I need a screwdriver to repair this." I held the tape measure tightly and moved forward. As I'm walking in the streets, the monster saw me, making myself run faster.

"Hey! Get back here!" The monster yelled.

"Pyronica, get her!" The pink monster successfully captured me.

"Let go of me!" I tried to escape yet her grip was so strong.

"A new snack!" He came near me but the pink monster stopped him.

"Stop it, 8-ball! Don't you recognize her? She's the one our boss told us to get! He will be happy!"

"But she doesn't have the necklace like he told us to!" The monster reasoned.

"She must taken that off. She's Y/n!" The pink monster said.

"How did you know my name?!"

"Confirmed, she's the one. Come on, let's go to the Fearamid." I gasped, making me struggle even more.

"Let me go!" I tried to escape again yet failed and eventually I gave up.

We reached the big pyramid and entered. I saw a triangle wearing a top hat with a bow tie.

"We found her." They said together.

"Leave us." He commanded. Wait, I know who owns that voice! The monsters left us while I only stared at him.

"You know it's rude to stare. It's like you haven't seen me in this form, Sunflower." He said.

"I- Uh- Uhm-" I stuttered.

"Don't kill me." I blurted out. Suddenly, he laughed maniacally.

"What a good joke, Sunflower. Why should I kill you when you're my- wait... You're not the Y/n I knew. You're from the past." He snapped his finger and changed to his human form.

"How did you get here?" He smirked while he went near at my face. I gulped nervously.

"What is this madness, Bill?!" I said in bravery.

"Isn't it beautiful? My Weirdmageddon?" He looked at the window and enjoyed the view on how 'beautiful' it is. Is he insane?!

"Yes, what's your point?" He laughed maniacally.

"You know, you need to go to your own timeline before your counterpart sees you." He snapped his finger, making the jammed tape measure levitate. He snapped his finger once again and the tape measure was fixed. He pulled the tape.

"And remember," He gave me the tape measure.

"You can't change what is destined to happen." I shivered and clicked the down button.

I opened my eyes and I was back in the Mystery Fair. I can't get off my mind what I've seen in the future. Suddenly, I saw the bald guy who's in panic.

"Uhm, excuse me, I believe that this is yours." I handed the tape measure to him. He immediately grabbed it to me.

"Did you use this tape measure?!"

"Why will I use that? I saw you dropped that thing and I spend my day finding you to return it." I lied.

"Oh, thank you." He grabbed it and walked away. I saw Mabel and Dipper and I went to them.

"Where have you been?" I asked.

"Y/n, you will not believe this! We time travelled! And he saved Waddles!" Mabel pointed at the pig.

"I couldn't break your heart, Mabel. Besides, there's no way Wendy can date Robbie all summer, right?" Dipper said to Mabel.

"YOU TWO!" He snatched the tape measure from Dipper.

"Do you have any idea, how many rules you just broke?! I'm asking. I wasn't there with you. It was probably a lot, right?"

"Blendin Blandin..." The two time travelers future-looking guys suddenly appeared beside him.

"AAAAAH! The Time Paradox Avoidment Enforcement Squadron!" Blendin exclaimed.

"That's tight, and our phones have been ringing off the hook! There are settlers high-fiving in the 1800's and calculators littered through eight centuries!" How about the things I've done?!

"You're under arrest for violation of the Time Traveler's Code of Conduct." They handcuffed him and lead him away.

"It was those kids! And their leader, Waddles!" Blendin reasoned.

"That's a pig, Blendin."

"I'll get you for this! I'll go back in time and make sure your parents never MEET!" He threatened to Dipper and Mabel.

"Oh yes, Y/n, we went back to time where the dinosaurs lived, the pioneer period. It was amazing!"

"Really?" I nervously laughed.

"I wish I have time travelled with you." I looked away and I still remember about Weirdmageddon. I need to change the future... I suddenly think an idea, an impossible and a difficult to-do idea... I need him to fall in love with me so Weirdmageddon can't happen...

"Woah, are you okay, Y/n? It's like you have seen something horrible?" Mabel asked as Y/n still staring at the ground.

"Wait, what?" Y/n snapped out the reality.

"Are you okay?" Mabel looked at Y/n in concern.

"I'm fine. Everything's gonna be fine..."
