Pacifica's eyes brightened a bit, before showing a very faint smile.
-You know, I don't know who the hell you are, but I was busy listening to that from someone -he answered before tears came out.
Suddenly now it was her two hands holding Pacifica's.
The girl saw a glimmer of security in the brown eyes, for a second she thought about how much they looked alike in Dipper. But soon I discard it, it was not time to remember the sweet farewell of the chestnut tree and her promise to return next summer, she did not want to relive the sweet kiss on her lips before leaving and her words of affection. Not now that everything had gone to shit, she was pregnant, dammit. Her father was going to kill her when she found out, plus the dreams she had talked so much with Dipper about.
Now they would not come true.
"STARS!" Leo shouted, pointing to the night sky.
Since Gravity falls was still under renovation, the light was not on at all hours. Like for example that moment. Pacifica turned to see the sky, noticing a starry sky that generally could not be seen. I notice out of the corner of my eye as Leo looked in all directions.
"What are you looking for?" I ask weakly.
Leo turned to see her with a smile, one that was exactly like Dipper's. One that showed a bit of innocence and the intensity at his side.
His eyes widened in disbelief.
-My favorite constellation is Leo ... that's why my mother nicknamed me like this -I assure seeing the sky with certainty -I tell my younger sister Lyra because that is also her favorite constellation -he added with some grace- although sometimes not seems to like him very much-
-... -
-Something happens?-
"What about your father?"
Leo's eyes turned to see her calmly, but noticing a serious look in which would be his mother, he worried a little. It was impossible for her to suspect anything about his identity, he had not revealed enough to tell her that she was his mother.
But seeing his eyes.
That cunning and disbelief in them.
He smirked sideways.
-I have no father ... my mother never spoke of him-
-That annoyed you?-
-Not anymore ... she is a great woman, I just need her and my younger sister-
-... -
When she is under a somewhat thoughtful view, I take the opportunity to ruffle her hair with an admired look. What he was about to do could be stupid, but he couldn't leave leaving his mother as he was, he occupied seeing a look of happiness in her.
It was his duty to protect her.
"You remind me a lot of her," he said with a wink.
Pacifica's eyes widened in disbelief, he instead used the tape measure to disappear in that instant.
...
A bad feeling ran through Pacifica's back when she saw that man walk through the fair, she apologized to her old friends to look for her son everywhere. He stopped his steps when he saw how he was sitting on a bench, being scolded by the chubby of time, telling him how stupid he had been. It's full of mud and some wounds, he just sighed before seeing her reach her.
He ran to hug her around the waist, leaving her confused.
"What happened Leo?" I ask, cleaning the water that was running down his wet hair a little.
The boy who usually passed by laughing and mischief had a look on her that made her freeze. It was an emotion-filled look she always had as a child, but had long since ceased to be seen.
"I missed you so much mother," he said, hiding his face over his clothes.
I turn to Blendin, who just growled something about the paperwork he should be doing. Before disappearing I turn to see Leo telling him that he would return in a few months to fix the next temporary crack he would make.
She narrowed her eyes.
-Something tells me you got into various problems again-
-Not at all dear mother, I am a good child-
-Yes of course-
They stopped their footsteps as they passed the forest animal stall, as the cat had finished biting the goat and leaped toward its face, probably wanting to escape. Pacifica tried to get it out of her face, but it was still with claws stuck in her hair.
"Calm down 10 kilos," Leo shrieked in pain.
Suddenly the wildcat was calm and turned away from his face.
"WE HAVE A WINNER!" Announced the man who had been trying to get rid of the animal long ago.
Leo turned to look at him with hatred, with the cat on his head who seemed comfortable.
Elizabeth jumped up excited, with Lucy glaring at the cat who now seemed suddenly fond of Leo.
"What's her name?" Asked Lyra thoughtfully.
Leo turned to see his sister, who was smiling as beautifully as usual. For some strange reason, he also smiled back.
Feeling more secure now in his time.
-You can choose it yourself-
-Really?-
-Clear-
-His name will be ... PIG! -
All present turned to see her confused and with a drop of sweat on the nape of her neck, while the least caressed the fur of the pussycat, which she gladly accepted. Instead Leo just laughed before supporting his sister's decision, forgetting for a moment the time travel and the presence of that yellow triangle that gave him an unimaginable terror.
...
Among the bushes in the forest, Darian looked confused at the Northwest family, he was not so sure about Bill Cipher's plan, but he had ordered Leonardo to be eliminated among all of them. Something did not fit in that, because he felt that of all those present, this boy was the one who seemed least interested in supernatural things.
"That child is a problem for my future plans"
That brat didn't seem like a problem.
But he just had to obey.
For today he would let his happiness be enjoyed, tomorrow he would plan his departure.
