Kari proceeded to walk to the location where she had asked to meet up.

Arriving there, Kari saw no one and hurriedly began to set up the picnic. She laid out the blanket and got some recyclable paper plates and paper cups ready at the side, all stacked up.

Kari took out the Nintendo switch she had recently ordered from the internet and opened Animal Crossing as she waited for their arrival.

Soon, she heard chatters and footsteps, Kari put away my Nintendo Switch and then saw Amelia and the boys. Grinning, she waved at them. "Heyy! How have you all been?"

"Great! How about you Kari?" Immediately, Amelia tackled me and Kari could see Damon sulking. Chuckling, she whispered into Amelia's ear. "How about you go accompany that lonely dear fiancee of yours?" Amelia blushed heavily at the word, Fiancee.

She nodded and meekly made her way over to Damon as she set on her knees and avoided Damon's intense stare.

Kari look away from them to see the boys who were acting rather different. Tilting her head, Kari asked curiously, "What's up? You all look rather conflicted."

Xlec sighed and shot Kari a troubled look," Something... happened."

She raised an eyebrow curiously, "Well? Aren't you going to elaborate or do you not feel comfortable in telling?"

Xlec hesitated before opening his mouth, "We three, just got fiancees.."

Blink. Blink.

Kari looked confusedly at them, "So? Aren't you princes? Did you not expect engagements? Besides, you don't even know them yet, don't judge them without even meeting them!"

They opened their mouth to refute only to close them back again when they realised what she said was true, correct.

Kari sighed, "I thought it was some intense drama or something. Anyways, when can I meet your fiancee?"

"Well, they're coming here tomorrow," Kain said.

"And they didn't come with you?"

"... Yea."

"Okay, I see."

Kain looks away uncomfortably.

The atmosphere was rather tense.

"Let's eat. This atmosphere is what I would not like to see when we met again after a few months."

Everyone agreed to her words and decided to forget what had happened before. Laying out the plates and food, they dug in and chatted with each other.

Updating on their current events. Everyone smiled and laughed and the atmosphere had turned cheerful.

"I can't believe you're my roommates," Kari said as she led the three, princes' fiancees to their respective rooms.

"You guys can go unpack first. I will meet you in the living room, yea? Then let's chat and get to know each other more!"
