A ''Fresh'' Story

Movie At Lunch

Another step.

Another step.

Another step.

Another step.

Yet another step and he was near his skateboard. He crounched to pick his skateboard up. Then he stood straight again.

While he was doing these actions, he stopped thinking about Error.

The pain got weaker. It was easier to walk now. So he walked the way to his home.

With each step he took, the pain got weaker and weaker. When he was home, he felt better. There was no pain.

Fresh gently opened the door. He walked in the house and closed the door behind him. His mom, brothers and Ink were in the living room, picking the movie.

"Łęț'š wáțćh Đéãđpøøł!"
"Uhh... Can't we watch a family-friendly movie..?"
"Øh čømê øñ! Fămîłý-fříěñđłý møvīëš ãŕę bøŕíňģ!"
"I think we should watch comedy!" Ink exclaimed.
"Đëàđpøøł îś âłśø fûňņý!"
"But there is too much blood and deaths!" Geno said.

Fresh smiled at their argue.
"Watap brosephs?" He entered the living room.
"Hey sweetie!" Greeted CQ.
"Uh, Fresh? Won't Decans come?" She continued.
"Nah. I saw him on a table. Guess he's goin' ta da hospital again."

Ink seemed upset.
"Oh, sorry about that, Fresh."
"Nah, dun need ta be, Inky brah!"

Geno and Error looked at each other. Error turned to Fresh.
"Ěvëñ ýøûŕ bėśț fřįèñđ?"
Ink looked at Error with a sad look. Geno understood what Error meant.
"Error..." Geno said as he gave a sad, disappointed look.
"Whâť? Íț'ś híš bêšť fřįèñđ!" Error whispered.

Fresh got what was happening. He decided to change the subject.
"Sa, wat r we all up 'n watchin', yo?"
He put his skateboard on the floor and threw himself on the couch which no one was sitting on.
"Oh!" Geno remembered what they were arguing for. So he continued speaking.
"Family-friendly movies would be great." Said Geno.
"And Comedy!" Said Ink.
Geno turned his head to Error.
"But Error wants to watch Deadpool." Error grumped.
"Í wâńť âćțíøņ!"

Fresh put his hand on his chin, clearly thinking.
"Wat 'bout Gravity Falls?" Fresh suggested.

Geno, Error and Ink looked at each other. Then they looked at CQ. She nodded.
"That would be wonderful, Fresh!" She said.
"Good choice little bro!"
"Yeah!"

Error didn't say anything. Instead, he just turned to the TV. He turned it on and searched for Gravity Falls. Ink turned to TV as well.

While Error and Ink were searching for Gravity Falls, Fresh's mind slipped to what happened to him while he was coming back to home. It wasn't the same headache before, but his whole body hurt. He couldn't find a reason for that.

His shades were blank, which made Geno a little scared and concerned. Fresh wouldn't space out often.
"A-are you o-okay, Fresh?" He asked in a scared tone.

Fresh's glasses suddenly turned into !!_!!. He looked at Geno. Then his shades became normal again.
"Totes fine, brah."
"I-if you say so..."
"Ģèêź, fíñâłłý!"
Error finally found the cartoon.
"Is everyone ready?" CQ asked.
Fresh grabbed the juice on the table. He showed it to his mother and said:
"Yep!"
"Okay then. Error, could you please start the cartoon?"

Error nodded and started the cartoon.

Their lunch was spend by watching cartoons.

Do you remember the speech that I wrote about choices in the previous chapter, reader?

Well, time is as important as the choices.

Time is the best thing that had given us. We have to choose how to use it wisely.

Now, let's see what Fresh could do instead of watching cartoons.

He could go see his friend in the hospital, even though he couldn't care.

At least it would be an encouragement for Decans.

Or, he could try to talk to Error about stuff. At least, maybe Error could try to understand that his brother wasn't  as bad as he thought.

But, in my opinion, movies are good ways to make the bonds stronger.

Well, the only thing we can do right now, is to wait to see if he had chosen the best choice...
