Bella gave her sister a smile back. "Edward went out hunting for Carlisle's bachelor party." Bella put quotation marks around the word party making Christina giggle. "Where is everyone else?"

"Everyone's in their rooms," Christina answered. "Annie and I are having a spa night. Would you like to join?"

"Okay, I didn't know Carlisle was hiding this huge tub in his bathroom," Bella laughed, sinking in the side of the tub. Legs and arms were bunched up under the water, but neither girl minded as they all relaxed in the still warm water— though, Christina would have to get out soon to not disturb the temperature too much.

Christina smirked as she leaned her head back. "I may or may not have had something to do with this."

"Terrible," Bella joked.

"Would you believe me if I said it was a wedding present?" Christina continued to play along.

Bella shook her head. "Not even for a second."

Christina shrugged her slim shoulders, "I tried."

Bella sighed lightly, resting her head on the edge of the tub. "I can't believe your getting married tomorrow." Christina hummed in response. "I can't believe I'm getting married in less than a month."

"I can't believe mom's going to stay in Forks for a month," Christina joked, her auburn eyes closed as she enjoyed the feeling of warmth against her skin.

Bella laughed loudly but nodded along with her sister. Once her laughter ran out, she tilted her head towards the young mother before lowering her voice to a whisper. "Are you gonna be okay tomorrow?"

Christina opened her eyes at the serious topic. Her eyes stared at the white ceiling, guilt eating away at her undead heart. "I want to say yes confidently. Rosalie and Alice are taking me hunting right before we have to get ready and people come over, but—"

"I know," Bella sighed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you."

Christina shook her head as she met eyes with Bella. "The worry's always in the back of my mind, you know. That one day I'm going to snap and hurt you, or Annie— or anyone... again." A sigh left her lips as she closed her eyes once more, tilting her head towards the ceiling. "I try not to let it control me, because fear only makes things worse. I typically don't have an issue around you two, or dad. A few times, if I go more than a couple days without feeding, the scents bother me, more than I let on. More than I care to admit."

"You're stronger than you think," Bella whispered, making Christina hum sarcastically. "You are. Even Edward says you're the most controlled newborn. Even years old vampires have trouble with their control— and you've only had one accident. I'd say that's pretty impressive."

Christina's eyes softened as she glanced at her little sister. "Thanks, Bella. I really appreciate that."

Bella smiled back. "You just got to give yourself more credit. You're giving me faith that I will turn out fine as a vampire. All the talk about newborns is scary, but it doesn't deter me from wanting to become one. You make everything look easier— even when I know it's not. But it gives me faith, because I know if you could do it, so can I. You were the one who taught me most in life."

"If I could cry, I would," Christina muttered, making Bella chuckle lightly. The young mother crawled out of the tub, grabbing the towels before passing one to Bella. She wrapped the other one around her body. "I do really appreciate you, Bella. I know you'll be a great vampire someday."

Bella smiles gratefully back. "Thanks, Nina."

Both girls walked out of the bathroom and into Carlisle's room before pausing as they stared at Annie across the room. The six year old turned slowly to look at them both, before a small smile broke out onto her face.

"How did you even manage that?" Christina asked in slight confusion as her daughter's hair stuck up in different directions. "Where did you get anything staticky?"

Annie giggled before she shuffle across the ground, rubbing her socked feet on the carpet. Both Christina and Bella laughed in realization before Bella gasped as Annie gave her a quick shock. Annie's pointer finger lingering on Bella's arm.

"You're gonna get that," Bella promised, making the six year old run out of the room with giggles. Bella was quick to run after her down the hall.

The mother laughed after them, glad to have had a girl's night when she needed it most.
