"Time for the dress!" Alice cheered. She grabbed the bag off the bed, trying to hold it over her five foot height.

Christina got up from her stool to follow after Alice, being careful to take slower steps than she usually did. "Annie, go with Rose to put on your dress."

"Yes, momma!"

Alice closed the closet door behind them, letting Christina take a few breaths of clean air. It wasn't that she needed to breath, she could hold her breath for a while; but the human instincts, she had yet to kick, were uncomfortable with the fact of not breathing. It was like a reminder in the back of her head to take a breath, even though she didn't need to.

"Arms up," Alice ordered lightly.

The dress was a snug fit. Alice was able to tailor it herself once the dress came through the mail. Alice clipped the train up in the back, just until the mother had to walk down the aisle.

Christina undead heart ached at the thought of seeing Carlisle at the end of the aisle. She grinned to herself as the excitement settled into her stomach.

"Oh, Christina," Renee cried as the young mother walked out of the walk-in closet. "You look so beautiful... Charlie get in here!"

Charlie peeked around the corner nervously. "It's clear?" He got a nod from everyone as he stepped into the room. Both Bella and Christina giggled as they looked at Charlie. "I know, I look good."

"It's almost time to start walking," Alice said, glancing at her watch. "Let's move the party downstairs."

Charlie waited until Christina was next to him before following the rest of the group. "You look beautiful," he muttered softly.

Christina grinned back up at him with venom in her eyes— the tears she can never shed. She wrapped an arm through his, hugging him lightly. "Thanks, dad. For everything."

"Okay, remember..." Alice started as Rosalie and Renee walked out the back door and to their respective seats. "Annie goes out first and throws the flowers." Annie held up her basket in front of her with excitement. "Then Bella goes out—"

"I'm gonna fall," Bella sighed.

"You're not going to fall." Alice rolled her eyes. "We've practiced this. Your lucky Christina was nice enough to let you wear flats."

Christina winked towards Bella. Since she was a vampire, high heels didn't hurt her like they would if she were human— but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a pair of flats waiting for her after the wedding.

"Wait until Edward starts playing," Alice instructed before disappearing out the door.

It seemed like as soon as Alice disappeared, the piano started playing, sending the song throughout the backyard. Christina shook her hands out, a human tick she couldn't drop from being nervous.

"I'll see you out there," Bella whispered with a wink.

Christina gave her a smile back while letting out a breath—taking a deep one back in while it was just her and Charlie. She held her breath getting ready to walk, mindful of moving her shoulders slowly for human appearances.

"Ready?" Charlie asked, holding his arm out for his first daughter to take.

Christina wrapped her arm through his before looking out the back door. "I'm ready."

Charlie led her down the aisle, just like they practiced a few days ago. Christina kept her eyes on her eyes downwards as nerves settled in her stomach. As soon as they both came into view, everyone stood up from their seats, making Christina look up.

She gripped tighter onto Charlie's arm, careful not to be too tight as to hurt him. Everyone was smiling at the sight of Christina and Charlie walk down the aisle, but Christina's eyes were deadlocked on Carlisle.

If they could cry, they both would.

Carlisle's breath was taken away by the simple beauty that was Christina Swan. She was beautiful before her transition; and before today, Carlisle almost missed the human look to her cheeks, and her slight freckles that used to linger on her nose. The small scar on her forehead from years of experience; the crooked smile that she would give him when she was being sly. Her green eyes that would shine every time she looked towards him or Annie; but staring at Christina's face now, he knew he would never want to stare at another face for eternity.

She was effortlessly beautiful, with a heart to match.

Christina smiled brightly as they got closer to Carlisle; her nerves turning into excitement. His heart warmed at the sight of her warm eyes, and bright smile. She was still his Christina, and soon she would be his forever.

"Who is giving away the bride?" The pastor spoke as they stopped at the end of the aisle.

Christina's eyes didn't leave Carlisle's until her father answered, "I am." She glanced over to him, giving him the small smile that lingered on her face. He leaned down and landed a kiss on her cheek, before giving the hand he was holding to Carlisle.

Christina's whole body tingled with electricity as Carlisle's hand softly grasps hers. He held her walk closer to the pastor, before they faced each other.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Christina Swan and Carlisle Cullen," the pastor started as everyone sat back down in their seats.

Christina gladly took the time to soak in seeing Carlisle dressed up; the burgundy tux fitted him perfectly. She blinked back into focus as she met his eyes once again; the golden hues settling into her soul.

Christina could feel Carlisle's thumb gently rub her hand, bringing her back to attention as the pastor started to say the vows. They were traditional vows, a compromise that Christina had no mind making for Carlisle. She felt venom settle in her eyes as she repeated the words after the pastor. It was like her world was finally starting to make sense, standing in front of Carlisle promising her life with his. She knew she would never want anything more than this moment to last forever.

"I do."

"I do."

"You may now kiss the bride," the pastor spoke out.

Even though Christina's mind could focus on multiple things at once since her transition, it was hard to once Carlisle's lips met hers. The electricity that settled in her stomach since he grabbed her hands had turned into a burning fire. She allowed a small gasp to exit her lips as they pulled away. It was like kissing him for the first time all over again. Carlisle was a drug, and Christina couldn't get enough of him.

"Introducing Mr and Mrs Carlisle Cullen."

Christina's focus came back to her as she looked around at all the clapping people around her. She felt little hands wrap around on her left hand. The young mother looked down with a grand smile to her daughter, who was also holding Carlisle's hand. Venom filled her eyes once more as Carlisle swung Annie onto his left hip, before grabbing her hand to walk back down the aisle.

As Christina continued to watch Carlisle and Annie next to her, she couldn't imagine a better life.
