Five x Reader - Time After Time

"Would you please..." Luther began and both Fives kicked him again.
"Hey! I'm getting really sick of this!" We all continued to fight, but it was clear both Fives were finding it harder and harder to keep teleporting.

"Getting tired yet?" Old Five asked as I knocked old me down to the ground.

"I can do this all day." Five responded, although it was clearly a lie. Old me got up and stood by old Five and Five came over to my side.

"Guys, this has to stop." Luther begged and I rolled my eyes.

"Eat shit, ape man." Both Fives yelled and we all stepped forward, but as we all tried to use our powers against each other, we were all thrown back.

"Hey! Assholes!" Luther held old Five's rifle and I sat up with a quiet groan.
"I'm done listening to you all. I'm in charge now!"

"Now, Luther! Shoot them!" Old Five ordered and my eyes widened.

"No, Luther, shoot them!" Five pulled himself to his feet, stepping forward slightly.

"Shoot them!" Old me yelled and I glared at her.

"No, Luther, listen to me, shoot them." I glanced at him as I got up.

"Shoot them!" Old me went to Old Five, taking his hand.

"No, shoot them!"

"No, no, shoot them, Luther!" Luther turned the gun to Five, who took my hand, stepping in front of me slightly.

"Now, Luther!" Old Five snapped and I knew that if he did shoot, both of us were too drained to stop it.

"I'm sorry." Luther whispered, looking at us. I put my hand over Five's, before Luther turned and smacked old Five across the face with the gun. He fell to the ground and Old me kneeled down next to him, trying to wake him up.
"Now. Open the portal!" Luther looked at us and we nodded, doing as he said.

"Right. Delores?" Five began opening the vortex and I helped him. Unlike last time, it was big enough for two to fit through.

"Don't even think about it." Luther spoke and I looked at our old selves, getting up off the ground.

"Into the vortex you go, assholes." Five pointed at it and I noticed the briefcase in Luther's hand.

"Fine! But give me the math!" Old Five ordered.

"Stand next to the vortex and we'll tell ya." I smirked. They both moved closer and I looked at Five.

"Closer!"

"No this is close enough!" Old me yelled.

"It was a typo." Five explained.

"Typo?" Old Five repeated.

"We put the decimal in the wrong spot in our proof of the existence of a bound for the number of limited cycles of planar polynomial vector fields of fixed degree. We write down 5.7, but it should be..."

"0.57..." Old Five muttered and Five nodded.
"Son of a bitch!"

"I knew that didn't look right!" Old me grinned and I nodded my head.

"You were right, Delores. You almost always are." Five smiled and I pushed down the jealousy that came with that.

"Alright, this is it." Old Five sighed.

"Yeah, it is. Go." I looked at the vortex, just as Klaus' fire extinguisher came flying through, knocking Luther out. The Fives exchanged a look, before they both ran for the briefcase, fighting over it.

"Five! It's shrinking!" I yelled referring to the vortex, which I was struggling to keep open.
"Go." I looked at old me, just as Luther got to his feet. She went in and Luther kicked old Five into the vortex. It closed and I watched as the destroyed briefcase dropped to the ground.
"No."

"We did it!" Luther grinned and I looked at Five, who shook his head.

"The briefcase, you idiot." Five groaned and I walked over to the fence, grabbing the ordinary briefcase and standing on it, looking at the parade.

"Hey, you know what? A thank you for preserving your existence would be nice." Luther complained.

"A thank you." Five scoffed, before coming over to stand by me.
"Luther! Here he comes!" We all looked over the fence as Kennedy made it onto the grassy knoll.

"Look! There's dad." Luther pointed out.
"What do we do?"

"Uh oh." Five muttered and I watched as his brother sprinted across the grassy knoll, towards his father.
"Diego..." We watched as Diego tackles the umbrella-holding man to the ground, just as gunshots rang out and Kennedy was killed.

"It's done." I sighed as the crowd dispersed.
"Kennedy is dead."
