23: Pack Up

"Anything," replies Taehyung, "Just anything."

Jimin looks at Taehyung for a minuscule amount of time. After a couple of seconds, he sighs, "Ramen, it is."

Jimin pulls out two ready-made, cylindrical cans of ramen. He heats water in two to three cups of water and gives one can to Taehyung.

As they start eating, Jungkook enters the apartment from outside.

"I have been worried about you, where have you been?" Jimin asks.

"Just a run. I needed some exercise." Jungkook tosses a smile.

"You could have just told me that. We could have gone to the gym together." Taehyung clicks his tongue.

"You go to the gym?" Jungkook asks.

"Duh!," Taehyung says, "Do you not see these large biceps?" He pokes his forearm.

"You are wearing an oversized hoodie." Jungkook points out.

"It is not matter of clothes," Jimin joins the conversation, "Taehyung is naturally skinny." He sticks his tongue out.

"Do you not have any other job than to mock me?" Taehyung glares at Jimin.

"I have absolutely no idea." Jimin mocks again.

"I'll go freshen up," Jungkook says, heading towards the bathroom.

"Jimin," Taehyung calls out, his voice deep and sombre.

The aura turns deep, yet again. The ambience is once again, dark and full of a spine-chilling suspense.

"I want to visit Jungkook's psychiatry." Taehyung says in a blunt manner.

"What?," Jimin chokes, "Why so suddenly?"

"Jimin, what the actual hell?" Taehyung snaps.

Taehyung is fuming. Jimin has never seen Taehyung so angry before, and this time it is not an insensible anger. It is an anger that depicts care, friendship and love towards another.

"Do you like it when Jungkook hyperventilates?" Taehyung lowers his voice, "Do not tell me that you actually want to live like this."

Jimin ponders over the thought. Taehyung is right. It is woeful to see his roommate suffer, especially when the things happening are so vile and odious. Jimin has developed a fraternal feeling towards the younger male, and he too, does not want to descry his roommate suffer.

"You are right," Jimin finally speaks, "Let's go visit the psychiatry. We might find few if our answers there."

"Exactly!" Taehyung says, his eyes teeming with acceptance and approval.

"Okay then," Jimin starts, "What are we waiting for? Let's go and crack code of this thing!"

"Stop it, stop it, stop it!" Jimin almost curses at Taehyung, eyes digging holes into his friend.

"What did I do now?" Taehyung groans in irritation.

"Stop stuffing and just stuffing your clothes!" Jimin raucously speaks, "Put them properly in a pile, shirts on shirts and pants on pants."

"How about you do it then?" Taehyung asks.

"Fine, you useless idiot!" Jimin says.

"Uhm," a soft voice makes appearance.

"Where are you going?" Asks Jungkook, looking at Jimin and Taehyung with confusion written all over his face.

Jimin is, now, oscillating between the two thoughts ‘should I tell him and take him along’ and ‘I will just let Taehyung speak and take lead on this’.

Jimin looks at Taehyung, his expression saying ‘speak boy, speak as if your life depends on it’.

"Jimin, why don't you say?" Taehyung snatches the clothes from Jimin's hands and starts packing.

Jungkook's focus is now on Jimin. Jimin gulps before speaking, "We are visiting my grandma. Do you want to come?"

"No, thanks." Jungkook smiles, "I'll stay back."

Without letting either if them speak, Jungkook leaves the room and Jimin immediately turns around to hit Taehyung on the arm.

"Could you not have said anything?" Jimin growls.

"I work bad under pressure, you know it." Taehyung shrugs, "And stop hitting me, like a girl."

"Such a hypocrite." Jimin clicks his tongue, looking at Taehyung with a sharp gaze.
